You can download and install most popular apps and it can control your TV. I would definitely recommend this device. The only caveat is that it it doesnt come in black.

I don't have a netflix subscription currently but it still shows me titles on there.

I have been using chromecast since day 1 and have upgraded to each release. I did use a Roku in my bedroom just for the remote.... No more. This thing is perfect.

It works well and is an obvious upgrade from my other chrome cast units. I specifically like that it is a cheap upgrade option for older smart TV’s that can’t upgrade.

App support is deep and the menu ties all of the services together into one interface. This eliminated my old Chromecast and Roku into one device!

The Google TV is a nice extra but I dont watch much of it. Sometimes the Chromecast can't be found or stops working when there's a change in the programming or broadcast.

I think I definitely prefer this over roku or apple tv. Very nice having a remote with a mic so the excellent google assistant is always available on my TV.

I can side load apk and do lot of things. Only issue I have is the Power brick is too week to deliver power so that I can use USB C hub otherwise very good product. Support Dolby Vision and Atmos. I just love it.
