If you don't want your screen to be blindingly bright all the time, then you'll want to have the Chromecast match the content settings. In doing this, it seems that every now and then the video signal drops and it goes black, while the audio continues to play. It does this randomly, sometimes several occasions in one show. I've changed HDMI cables and switched ports, it still happens.
