This version of chromecast is absolutely amazing and super smooth. I have used older versions as well but this one is better performing than those in the past. The Google TV suggestions are also well curated. Overall very good device.

I have two Nvidia Shield TV devices which were $150 a piece.....this Chromecast with Google TV is almost as good for $50! I would recommend this to anyone. Runs circles around a Fire Stick or Roku in my opinion.

This is a great product! i replaced for my chromecast ultra, rhis one just offerd slot more, Plays all my shows in high quality And its very fast it slso loads very quick the movies and videos! I Recommend it!

My family loves this. Easy to use. Set up can be a bit quirky with establishing connection and it has lost its settings once or twice for no apparent reason. But menus are easy enough for my kids to use.

This has been the best purchase. I had the amazon firestick and was good for a bit but compared to chromcast, chromecast blows it out of the water. The only app not available is xfinity stream but no biggie.

It just works, a simple intuitive UI and no lag makes the good tv experience. If you have slow wifi and way to use ethernet cable, get a ethernet dongle and you will never see a loading icon again!

I got these for a couple of TV's so I could disconnect them from the internet and stop seeing ads on something I paid so much money for. (looking at you Samsung) I was just trying to remove ads, so I didn't know what to expect, but these are actually great. The remote is the perfect size. It's Bluetooth so it doesnt need to be pointed at the Chromecast to work. It has buttons to go directly to Netflix and youtube. Also can change the volume, turn off the TV or change the input. The interface is a lot more smooth and quick than the clunky smartTV menu. Not having to deal with a laggy smartTV really makes these worth it. Another bonus is if you misplace the remote and have an Android phone, you can use the AndroidTV app to control it. The app is still clunky and outdated on iPhone, but it will work in a pinch.

Just switched off cable and moved to streaming. The Chromecast remote makes it easy to operate with only one remote with a number of streaming services. The volume control on the remote is great as well as voice control

While we sought other products that were an immediate need for our business meetings with our clients while on business travel status, we also found other items that were needed. This item was useful in our presentations and readily available to us at an affordable price. This is the easiest way to upgrade an older, non-smart TV of a monitor to a full fledged smart device. Provides access to many Android compatible apps. My only issues with it is it doesn't have enough on-board storage and its not compatible with USB hubs to use flash drives with it.

Works great! I first tried to be thrifty and get the lower priced one and that was a frustrating mistake! You have to use your cell phone as a remote and it randomly worked for me. Spend the extra $20 and get this one!

Really love this product. Everything in in spot. Easy to install. Can access it with my phone or my laptop. Will be buying another one in the future.

This device is extremely convenient. It allows me to have all my streaming services displayed in one home page with easy access to all content. Works seamlessly with my Insignia TV and very minimalistic.

The new Chromecast with Google TV is a significant upgrade from the Chromecast I purchased several years ago. I find it easy to use. When I use the screen mirror function the Chromecast populates before my Roku.

Ease of use is excellent. Love the product. Connectivity from the phone is super easy. Don’t use the remote as much since everything can be done with your cellphone. Overall I would give this product 5 out of 5 for it.

I have 5 original version Chromcasts (without Google TV). They work perfectly until today. We have many TVs of different size in our houses and they are of early model -without builtin casting capacity. We enjoy casting a lot of Youtube medias from Thailand and other countries to play on big screen. This is the first one with Google TV which will turn older TV to new smart TV. I prefer Google Chromcast to others because I am able to download app (VLC media player) to play my collection of movies. I wish all of my old Chomcasts have this same feature. So far I do enjoy my new Chromcast with Google TV.
