I bought it just to have Chromecast on my TV. I have mixed feelings. Cons: remote is slippery and always ends up between couch cushions, under you, or slipping anywhere but where you left it. This makes you have to change the batteries often because you end uo sitting on it all the time. The buttons are like a slippery rubber, so unlike other remotes, this one slides even when you put it face down. My other remotes don't have this issue. Biggest annoyance with this device, so much so that I wouldn't recommend it for this reason alone. The content this device recommends, has NOTHING to do with your subscriptions nor the apps you have installed!! For example, it recommends a movie. And youd assume it's either part of your subscriptions or apps you have installed. But it is not, not only is it not available for you to watch, but you don't even have that app installed. I don't understand this logic. Not only does it do this, but there is no way to change this in the settings. So you have a device suggesting things you can't watch unless you pay money to an app you're not even using and is not free. For this reason alone, I don't recommend this device. I think Roku doesn't do this, but I haven't used a Roku for a while. Also when you use the Google voice to do a command or search something. The audio is extremely loud, there is no separate volume control for the Google assistant. Pros. It has Chromecast, which surprisingly I don't use often. It's pretty. That's all. Buy a Roku or smart TV. Roku has remotes that have an Aux output which is really cool and doesn't have slippery buttons. Also Roku has a find my remote feature.

Great streaming device for the price. Has a vast library of apps and is easy to use. Works especially well if already integrated into the Google Home ecosystem.

Got it to connect to my old LG Smart TV since it didn't have certain apps in the LG store. The set-up process was simple and it connected well. It works great as I can install and use apps like Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Crunchyroll, Funimation, etc. Also since it's a android system you can practically install anything. The control is small but the only minor issue for me is that I struggle to open the back to replace batteries. I believe I had to change the ratio/video quality setting on the chromecast setting or my tv (can't remember) as it looked slightly off but it fixed it and it works and looks great! Overall its a great device and I recommend it!

I've bought like 3 of these, they are so convenient! You can use use the remote when casting from your phone. Don't ever use my TV remote anymore!

Great little thing, surprisingly fast for low grade hardware. Great device for anyone that has a dumb tv and wants a roku/ fire stick experience with the power of the Google recommendation engine.

My main reason for purchasing this item was to be able to access HBO-MAX on my TV because I was tired of watching on my laptop & phone. Set up was simple & straightforward and the remote is a definite added bonus. My one complaint is that it is a MAJOR DATA HOG. The amount of gigs it used after watching just 4 episodes of Saved By Wolves was ridiculous. Even while technically off it still gobbled up date like crazy. So now if I'm not using it I unplug it and thats why I only gave it 2 stars.

Better interface than any smart TV out there. Mixed with my google services, this thing is the one stop media shop. Highly recommend especially if you are a google home user.

I picked this uo while traveling and staying at a hotel for 2 months. This was perfect light weight and easy to travel with and plug into the back of the hotel tv and have access to all my apps and shows

I bought this for my dad for Christmas. My parents TV is older and doesn't support Hulu + Live and so they still have Cable. But with so many of the BigXII games moving to ESPN+ I needed a way to get the games for him. Then when Discovery+ started I figured out that they hadn't made an app for LG Smart TVs so I bought another one for me. Some people maybe comfortable casting from a phone or laptop to a TV but I'm not. This little device has greatly improved my satisfaction with my LG Smart TV that's only a year old. When I turn it on with Google TV it goes straight to all my apps and suggestions instead of turning on static until I go search for the service I want.

I now have 3 of these (one for each TV in the house) and I couldn't be happier with them! I'm able to download and watch all my streaming apps and it supports 4K

Did you know that if you buy a movie on Google, you CANT stream it to your Samsung TV AND theres no app for it in their store either? THAT'S where this device comes in. It a crap shot on when things get released to digital and what format it will be end. I tend to find Google has a wider variety of 4K than Amazon. Its close but more times than not. With this device, not only can i stream with ease but, it brings the most out of the device as far as resolution

Highly recommend Chromecast with Google TV. The new interface makes it easy to watch your favorite TV shows and movies from all streaming platforms. And it supports Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos.

The new Google tv interface works great. Had been a Roku fan for years but this is just as good if not better. The remote is simple and gets the job done.

The new Chromecast with Google TV is awesome. Easy to use, self-explanatory. Small remote and a little slick. Bought a 2 pack of sleeves for it on Amazon for $5 - work perfectly.

This unit, with the included remote, is a big improvement over the chromecast that it replaced. The navigation is improved with the remote, including access to the Guide. Very pleased with it.

Convenient easy to connect and use. Turned my Sm art TV to a Smarter TV.

Previously i used firestick 4k max. There is a lag. But google tv is good lag free and no buffering. Ui was very responsive.

Easy to use good voice integration. Super easy to use accounts from both Android and Apple devices. It works well with my TV controlling the volume power etc. completely happy with the purchase.

All perfect , functionality as expected. Easy to configure.
