They are quicker than Fire devices and have all the apps you could want for your streaming needs. The remote ads functionality that the other chromecasts don’t have.

I can download my apps to it. The Chromecast with Google TV has allowed to to get rid of cable TV.

This doesn't only steam in higher quality, it comes with a voice activated remote which makes it super easy to navigate.

With the right cables and setup options you probably won’t need any of your current remotes because hdmi-Cec allows it to control all the devices connected to your TV. Got two for my house and two for my parents. Google lets you share with six family members. Very satisfied with this even though YouTube TV has increased in price twice since I’ve subscribed.

Great with a major limitation for me

It won't allow you to use Xfinity Stream or the live streaming app for Spectrum Cable. If that isn't a problem for you, you'll really like this. I have no other problems with it.

Chromecast with Google TV has access to more than 6,500 apps that you can download from Google Play Store. You'll be able to watch from video apps that are downloaded to the device, or video apps that are on your phone or tablet. Xfinity Stream is not on the list of apps you can download to your Google TV, but you can cast your screen to your TV while watching Xfinity Stream. If you're using an Android device, you can even mirror your screen to your TV over Chromecast while watching the app. Please note that Chromecast doesn't support screen mirroring for iOS devices. Unfortunately, the Spectrum TV app is not on the list of partner apps for Chromecast with Google TV. Chromecast can’t be used as a Spectrum receiver to access Spectrum business TV programming. I've consolidated all of my streaming services onto this one device. I wish it came with the ethernet adapter but you can now buy it from Google for twenty bucks.
