Great addition to any TV. I can control the TV from my Google Home app. Remote takes over so many different devices and is easy to use.

Great addition for a Google Home integrated smart home. Now that it comes with a remote, it makes life a little bit easier, even though Google was a little late to the game with that.

Worth the money! I have a 2015 Sony Bravia TV that I love but it didn't have the up to date android tv. I also couldn't get apps on board like HBO Max. I was considering getting a new tv but didn't want to spend another $1500k or more. I remembered seeing a review on the chrome cast on youtube and I was amazed. This device makes an old tv new again. Now I have google tv which looks just live android tv. Save money and turn your old tv into a new one. Worth the price of just $50 bucks.

If you can spend the extra $10 highly recommended. It's a fire stick but way faster and better in every way. Even if you don't have a 4K tv

Great option if you are looking to "cut the cable" and move to streaming. Super easy set-up. Works well with TV and soundbar. The remote could be bigger.

small remote. purchased aftermarket cradle so it fits my hand and hard to lose. very easy to use and easy to figure out. wish it was backlight.

My LG TV did not support Discovery plus so I had to buy something since my subscription to this streaming service had started. It was seamless to install and could not be happier.

Makes my basic tv into a smart TV. I love having all of my streaming services logged in one place. I can choose shows from the screen or by casting from my phone or tablet. I love it.

I had one of the original Chromecast and liked it but this device has so much more, I can't believe that I waited so long to buy it. I especially like the voice control the unit has.

This is an excellent device. Easy installation and easy to use.

I've been a fan of the Firestick for quite a while but when I tried the Chromecast with Google TV I was surprised how smooth it was. The fact that I also had access to all my google library of apps was what sold me. All my emulators and utilities work fantastic. You can OTG and add USB storage and Ethernet if you don't have a strong WiFi. Also have tested with PS4 controller and responds quite well using emulators and game streaming. The only cons I can find is the remote being so smooth can easily slip off your hand. It also feels very flimsy but I was able to pair the firestick remote to resolve the issue, everything works but the google assistant button.

Great step up from previous Chromecast devices, bringing a full fledge user interface to the experience. The device is fairly responsive and has an incredible app library. Unfortunately, where this device falls short is App developers delivering support for the devices capabilities. Dolby Vision and Atmos are both heavily advertised with this device, however in apps like Disney+, those formats are currently absent. I made sure it wasn't my TV by testing it on an LG C9 OLED TV to assure that the TV could actually accept that format, but the issue persisted. After reading through several forums, it seems this issue has been known about since October of 2020, which makes me very doubtful on a fix being pushed. If Dolby Vision and Atmos aren't a must have, or you can wait for an eventual fix, I'd recommend this device over any other streaming device, hands down.

I have been using (mainly) to watch HBO max. You can talk to the remote to “play Sopranos” and it’ll do just that very very happy with this product thus far!

Love this device!. Much faster than the apps in my (old) smart TV. No Buffering, great availability of streaming Apps, and intuitive controls.

Love this streaming device much more than my previous fire stick 4K! I switched over to Google and haven't looked back. Easy setup and very clean interface

Purchased three units for my Surgical Center. They work as intended without technical issues. Make sure your network is setup correctly and you will be pleasantly surprised how well these work.
