If the TV is shut off for more than a few hours, the ONLY way this will work again is to unplug it and plug it back in. It won't turn the TV back on, and even if I turn it on manually, the Chromecast device does not function, the screen is blank. Its like it goes into some sort of standbye mode and will not come out of it without a complete restart. I've gone back to my Roku... really kinda bummed. NOTE: This seems to be a common issue based on some internet searches. Maybe a software update can fix it?

Since I lost most of my over the air stations due to companies selling their sntennas for broadband, the change to Android TV/Google TV was a big addition of free resources that don't have to be cast from my phone or latop. In fact, I enjoyed it so much, I purchased an Android TV from Best Buy for the bedroom.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the best hdmi dongle for 4k hdr/dolby vision playback on the market. only downside is it dosent have apple tv, and the vudu app if you have a collection of digital 4k bluray movies only playsback in hdx ( this is a vudu iss that can be fixed with software). the only dongle you should buy unless you need the 1080 upscaling to 4k from the 2019 nvidia shields.
