It is small, lightweight and very responsive. I got this to replace an Apple TV that was to big and heavy to carry around a projector and way faster and more responsive than an Amazon Firestick. I would definitely buy more if my tvs werent "smart tvs"

I frequently bring this device for national and international use. I do not miss out on what I want to see. I marked down ease of use, because it does require some research to get all the benefits. Youtube is your friend with this device - the info is out there.

Best Chromecast with Google TV

I use it everyday connected to a Smart TV, the best thing is that i can install a VPN on it.

Improvement over predecessor

Using the Google TV interface requires you to log into youtube etc which is annoying. The remote feels cheap. Compared to it's competitors (amazon fire stick, roku), there isn't much that google TV adds except HBO max. However, the chrome cast functionality is a good reason to have this over other sticks.

Same as a firestick, but with HBO Max

I was looking into a firestick as well, and at the time of purchase, HBO Max was not supported by the firestick so it made my decision easy. I have had no regrets with this purchase and ended up purchasing a second one shortly after.
