New Google Chromecast

Within the last week the Chromecast appears to be interfering with a Vizio sound bar. The solution is to unplug the Chromecast; turn on the TV and sound; then re-plug in the Chromecast. This has occurred 3x times inside the last month. Not sure what the cause is.

If you've set up Chromecast to control the volume settings on your soundbar, you might experience unexpected results because of a disparity between the Chromecast volume settings and the volume settings on your soundbar. For example, if you mute your TV with the remote that came with it and then try to change the volume with your voice, your TV might stay muted. You might want to try setting up the volume control settings again to fix the issue:
- To start setup, at the top right of your TV screen, select your profile and then Settings .
- Select Remotes & Accessories and then Set up remote buttons and then Volume control and then Chromecast Volume.

It replaces an Apple TV. Google is smarter in the home space no doubt. Very happy with the purchase Insert and use. Very simple. Apple’s tv remote looks and feels better. Google’s is ok. Then again this one will not shatter when u drop it. Would buy again if it broke.

All of the apps you need to stream to your tv are present YouTube, Amazon Video, Hulu, Disney+ and many others. All of which you can stream in 4K which is great. So if your looking for a cheap way to stream directly to your tv this is absolutely the best bet
