Video quality is unbeatable for streaming services, looks great via HDMI, wireless connectivity and setup are easily completed using either Apple or Android/Windows products.

All of the apps you need to stream to your tv are present YouTube, Amazon Video, Hulu, Disney+ and many others. All of which you can stream in 4K which is great. So if your looking for a cheap way to stream directly to your tv this is absolutely the best bet

The tv is older but this device gives it an updated streaming platform. The options for display coverage is amazing. Dont be affraid to try and fine tune your streaming system to match whatever tv you have.

I usually cast my phone, but when putting music on on YouTube or a show for the kids, using the remote frees my phone up for me to listen to podcasts still.

A range issue or wireless interference can cause your Chromecast to have performance issues. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away from your router. You may also check for objects such as mirrors and refrigerators between the Chromecast and your router as these items could block the connection. Additionally, having a sizable amount of cache stored would affect its performance. Clearing the app cache can help. Here’s how:
- From the Google TV home screen, in the top right, go to the user profile icon and select Settings.
- Select Apps and choose the app you're having trouble with.
- If you can't find it, select See all apps.
- Select Clear cache and then Ok.
- If clearing the app cache didn't work, you can try to reset your Chromecast with Google TV by following the steps here: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/6254654

I keep going back to this as my streaming device of choice. I love the recommendations it give me for content. Great if your in the google ecosystem. Only complaint is it can lag/stutter upon boot up.

Works flawless. Only issues I have will be that the USB cable has to be plugged into the USB wall adapter. You're not allowed to plug into a USB port on a power strip. The Chromcast will not recognize the power and will prompt you to use the USB wall adapter.

No other streaming device can do what this thing does. Using it on my Roku TV. So long terrible voice controls, broken apps, and no HBO Max. Was worked the two pieces of hardware wouldn't get along but the Chromecast works great. Super easy to set up.

I like how it interfaces with my sound system and TV. Powering it on not only turns on the TV, but tells the receiver which proper input to select.
