Had some trouble getting it to connect to the internet . In reality it took over 30 minutes for it to stop saying it couldn't connect to the internet . Once connected ..no issues !!

Great functionality and the interface is snappy. One hiccup though; the OS does not support attaching a flash drive that is formatted any way other than FAT32. (you can connect a USB-C hub and connect a flash drive or ethernet adapter as long as the power supply for the hub is over 35 ish watts) Hopefully an update will fix this as I would like to use this to play back up tv shows or movies.

This device is a nice gadget, I can do all it that want in a tv and more, a lot apps available in android and is compatible with apple iPhone to casting and the best is that you can do open apps direct in chromecast. Is better that a smart tv. But remote control is very fragile, handle with care, because I not give 5 star

I looooove this thing. I purposely chose this one because I need to be able to watch Crunchyroll and Viki. Also, a plus for it being white. Its pretty lol.

The new Chromecast takes all or most of your streaming services under one umbrella. For example, using the voice remote, one can search for a movie or TV show through all of those services. Before, one had to search through all of the services one at a time. Google's new Chromecast solves this as one search.

I have 5 of these in my home and love them. Their app selection is good, they're easy to navigate, and can be paired to my TV and soundbar to control them with 1 remote instead of having to use multiple.

It was so easy to set up. It was fully functional in 10 min out of the box, with minimal input. The only issue I had with it was the USB power cord requires to be plugged into the wall, but the cable is short. It's shorter than the last gen Chromecast cable.

It’s a really great device. The concept of having all of the content from all of your services in one menu is great. But it does still need some of the kinks worked out. Most specifically the “Continue watching” tab only collects episodes from some apps and is a little inconsistent about when it updates. Otherwise I can’t recommend this device enough. I think it is the best deal in streaming devices.

This device brought new life to my old flat-panel tv, giving it smart tv functionality in a hidden minimalist package. The remote feels a little cheap/slippery, but hey, at its price point, it's nearly impossible to beat.

I bought two of these and they were a great addition to both TVs in my house. I did have to utilize the power cord for both applications of use. The chromecast works flawlessly with Google Home and adds additional functionality to power off TVs if they are left on while no one is using that TV.

Great way to stream, and the can stream HBO Max, which is something Roku or the Fire Stick don't do. That might not be important to some people. I also use YouTube TV for my streaming service, giving up the more costly Directv service. Anyway, the only negative is the small remote. It takes a while to use.

Easy connection to wifi via google home android app. Ability to cast PC screen, not perfect, but usable (similar to my old chromecast). Easy to connect Bluetooth speaker and mouse.

Easy to install and avoids paying the cable co. for another box!

After purchasing many different firesticks, fire cubes, etc... We switched to the Chromecast! It's such a breeze compared to others, nice layout too. I like how it automatically connects to your Google play store account and can charge the card on file whenever you're purchasing something.

I bought this for a limited purpose: to be able to stream HBO Max, which is still unavailable on the Roku boxes I already owned. It's been fine for that purpose, It's also useful for screencasting from my Android phone and Chromebook, since their Google-created operating systems don't play well with Roku.

Love how Assistant is so tightly integrated with the experience. The only thing I don't care for, is the remote is slippery! It is a dry, soft-touch coating, which (particularly in these winter months) feels like it could slip out of my hand if I'm not careful! Otherwise, I highly recommend this unit!
