I like it how it makes it simple to get connected to my tv

First I didn't like Google TV. Sure it has a lot of things you can get to but I'm old enough to remember when you turned on a TV it just came on and started playing the most recent channel. I hated having to go through several clicks just to watch what I want. How about defaulting to the last thing watched? The design of the remote is really dumb. The thing is like a greased boiled egg. You made it a smooth oval shape so you have to look at it to see which end is pointed where. Give it a shape you can feel so you know what you're doing without looking at it. Also make it easier to hold onto and the buttons obvious by feel. Lastly, I bought several of these things for my house and since I didn't like it and switched to cable (the lesser of 2 evils), the devices appear to be useless. I tried to find out if you can use them without Google TV so I could still use them with my Google Nest. You know, verbal commands stuff. From asking Geek sqd, looking online and asking anyone in your store, nobody seems to know what to do with the devices if you don't have GTV. That's a costly mistake. For people who are disabled it would be great just to be able to use the smart features. Try thinking about people are are not 16 and would just like a practical device. It's too cutesie. I got rid of cable to get this for my home. Cable is too big for their britches and generally sucks as a monolopy. Your senior management people make way too much money to allow doing the minimum. How about trading in 5 percent of your millions to make your company one that people seek out instead of having only one choice? Make it far better. Greed was cool in the 80's. Now it makes CEO's look like money grubbing jerks. Let's get back to real value and service shall we?

I switched from Fire Sticks to this product due to the casting ability. It has allowed my TV's to serve as a larger monitor for my laptop which has helped considerably working from home more due to COVID-19. No complaints or issues whatsoever.

The best starting device for Android TV (now Google TV) hands down. Response is snappy and it has all of the expected features. You can use as much or a little of the feature you want to. This is the best streaming device for most people because of the flexibility.

Purchased this to make an older smart tv feel new again and it sure does! Smooth system, voice search makes life easy. I can control my soundbar power/volume with the remote which I could not previously with the LG remote.

I brought this because HBO Max wasn't natively supported on my LG TV. I like this device as it does exactly what I need it to. I had a few issues with it as it will sometimes turn itself on but it's minor. I recommend it to anyone who want apps their TVs don't support or if the Smart OS on it runs like crap.

The Chromecast with Google TV is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Have used a few other streaming devices, but this one for my needs is the best out there. I really like the fact that the dedicated YouTube button can be configured for YouTube TV if you want.

Chromecast is my favorite streaming peripheral. Goes perfectly with YouTube tv.

Xmas gift. Not yet installed. Other reviews I read are mostly positive.

This is hands down one of the best Google, or even tech products in general of the decade. They've done an amazing job with the controller - super intuitive, and Google TV is fantastic, especially with YouTubeTV, which finally gets an EPG (program guide). Amazing!

This is great, with a type c hub connected this can get more powerful. however please note that all hub , and charger may not be compatible. all my type c hub was not very friend with this device. needed very good power to support the type c hub.

We picked this up as a travel device. I like being able to plug this in to any TV and having my viewing preferences without having to log in. Some hotels make it difficult but where there is a will, there is a way.

I absolutely love this new Chromecast!!!! I am a google user, but I also use lots of other streaming services, and it so so nice to have it all in one place. Only con is that FF and rewind function take some getting used to, but I would definitely buy one again!

Use it everyday. Some don't like the remote, but I think it's great. The interface or system needs to be rebooted now and again, but I use it all the time.

Its a google product works great. I have had a hard time using the google home and the push to talk on it. But mainly saying HEY GOOGLE and google home recognizing which app i want.

Flawless solution to cast from a computer to a big screen. A great way to carry on my Youtube, Max and many others suscription, just need a HDMI port, internet and voila!

They only thing missing is the ability for sling live tv to integrate to Android TV live tab. Also, having trouble turning tv and chromecast off at the same time. UI much better than other streaming devices but firestick still wins in term of integrating live tv services to channel guide.
