The only downside is having to purchase the ethernet adapter/power plug combo separately (from google, as it's not available from best buy).

We bought it to upgrade from our old chromecast to work with T-Vision. Unfortunately, T-Vision went under. We switched over to Sling TV, which works better with Roku, I think.

Prefer to have Roku built in to the TV, but if not a smart tv, then I prefer this stick. Voice search is the best in the business. Has all of the apps.

I like that it has access to all the top streaming services. It is missing some features I feel it should have but the device is new and I'm sure it will be updated in the near future.

Like that you can integrate multiple apps and use one remote. Very difficult to recall the last station watched if you are channel surfing. No ability to slow motion and if pause the picture is hard to see. But those that don't have a smart TV its much better than using your phone or table.

Google TV pulls together content from multiple apps (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.) into one landing page.

This Chromecast solved the problem.

To start with it has great interface and works seamlessly with google services. the problem comes once you have enough apps installed and try to use this. got very slow and unresponsive.

Your Chromecast with Google TV was designed to provide you with a smooth experience. We recommend trying out some helpful steps below:
- Ensure that your Chromecast is connected to your 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Remove other connected devices on your Wi-Fi network and see if you will still encounter the same issue. Should you verify congestion, then we recommend contacting your internet service provider for resolution.
- We recommend a Wi-Fi network with 25 Mbps download speed that can ensure smooth 4K experience.
- If it does not work, you may try restarting your Chromecast by going to Settings > System > Restart.
- If it's still unresolved, perform a factory reset on the Chromecast with Google TV.
a. While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV, hold down the button on the Chromecast device for at least 25 seconds or until the solid LED light turns into a flashing red light.
b. Once the LED light turns blinking white and the TV goes blank, release the button. The Chromecast device will begin the reboot sequence.
