Yes please! Great little device. Only downside is WiFi only. But they do offer an adapter if you need it. Sold separately.

Shows you content from all different streaming services on one home screen. I also bought the ethernet adaptor which it doesn’t come with but has definitely improved the connection.

However, terrible for HDR on certain in the middle LG TVs (like ones that only do HD/HDR). Proceed cautiously if you have this kind of tv as you may be disappointed depending on tv model.

I have it plugged into a Pioneer receiver and does 7.1 surround....except on youtube, because youtube does not support any bass surrounds. Highly recommend. Much better than the first gen chromecast.

I thought I would upgrade to this Chromecast since it has a remote and Google TV interface. This didn't work for me, though, for 2 reasons; 1) MUST BE POWERED THROUGH AC ADAPTER, which isn't always doable for some hotel setups. Roku can be powered via USB on back of TV. 2) CANNOT CONNECT TO HOTEL WIFI. This is a big one. The only work around is making your own laptop hotspot, but that's dumb. Roku recognizes hotel wifi portals and gives you steps to still connect fine. Bit of a let down since I love Google products. As a home device, I'm sure it would be wonderful, but for the traveling man I would recommend the Roku Stick 4k.

In general, Chromecast works almost anywhere if there’s a Wi-Fi signal. But, there are a few things to keep in mind if you’re trying to connect to certain types of Wi-Fi networks or routers. Mobile hotspots, guest networks, and other types of internet service are not recommended for use with Chromecast, and it does not support Enterprise networks such as 802.1x/RADIUS or captive portal networks (networks that require you to agree to terms of service, such as a coffee shop or hotel). All Wi-Fi routers have a limit on the total number of devices that can be connected to Wi-Fi at the same time. Refer to your router’s manual for its limit.

Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the remote is EXTREMELY slippery. I have leather couches and it’s always sliding off the arm rest. ALWAYS. For some it may be meaningless and that’s fine I’m probably being too critical, but if it keeps falling off it’ll eventually break
