I don't like the user interface as much as firestick. Purchase to be able to cast Oculus quest to the tv. Casting was laggy and not very enjoyable which I deducted 1 star for.

If you haven’t yet, we suggest doing the following troubleshooting:
Reboot the Chromecast device:
- Unplug the Chromecast device from the power source.
- Leave it unplugged for one minute and then plug it back in.
Reboot the router:
- Unplug the router from the power outlet and leave it for at least 2 minutes.
- If there is a battery pack, remove that as well and make sure no light is turned on.
- After 2 minutes, plug it back in and wait for it to completely reboot.
This behavior is common for network congestion issues (router) and sometimes a device glitch (Chromecast) which normally occurs for most electronic devices.

Dumb TV no more!

Maybe that's enough for you for now. But as new streaming services keep being added, this device can't keep up.

This is one of the best that I have yet seen yet. You can even get the HBOMax app top install on it, which is something you can not do with Roku.

Having to push home button and then go back to app. The remote is nice with the voice button. Needs a new update to fix the bugs in it.

Chromecast with Google TV was designed to provide you with a smooth experience. You may try out some troubleshooting steps below that may be helpful in resolving the issue:
- Ensure that your Chromecast is connected to your 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Remove other connected devices on your Wi-Fi network and see if you will still encounter the same issue. Should you verify congestion, then we recommend contacting your internet service provider for resolution.
- We recommend a Wi-Fi network with 25 Mbps download speed that can ensure smooth 4K experience.
- If it does not work, you may try restarting your Chromecast by going to Settings > System > Restart.
- If it's still unresolved, perform a factory reset on the Chromecast with Google TV.
a. While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV, hold down the button on the Chromecast device for at least 25 seconds or until the solid LED light turns into a flashing red light.
b. Once the LED light turns blinking white and the TV goes blank, release the button. The Chromecast device will begin the reboot sequence.
