Still somewhat flawed in my setup.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose to upgrade from an older Chromecast to the latest, and while it's nice to have a remote and Android TV, the HDR detection has created an interesting issue that I didn't have before. If you don't want your screen to be blindingly bright all the time, then you'll want to have the Chromecast match the content settings. In doing this, it seems that every now and then the video signal drops and it goes black, while the audio continues to play. It does this randomly, sometimes several occasions in one show. I've changed HDMI cables and switched ports, it still happens.

Snappy and better than any built in smart tv
