I bought this because the Amazon Fire Sticks, Boxes and Insignia Tvs I use didn't have HBOMax on them as well as my Fire Tv Box was getting old and showing signs of slowing. Let me just point out that I have subscriptions to YoutubeTv, Netflix, HBOMax, Disney+ and a handful of other streaming services so I wwas hopeful that this would be a great alternative to Amazon sticks. I do love the interface that Google has incorporated into their device but upon completion of set up and adding all my services, the internet connection was glitchy. It didn't matter which service I was on, the top right would always display "Connected to the internet" every 30 seconds which is annoying in itself, but every couple of minutes the screen would be loading for 30 seconds on YoutubeTv, Disney+, etc. I researched it and went through countless instructions on how to remedy it to no avail. I also messed with my router and modem countless times even though it was not the issue. BTW the Chromecast was in my living room 2 feet from the router and modem so connection should not have been a problem. Also I have gigabit internet so the speed is not the problem either.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. All Chromecast devices require a TV with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 1.3 or higher built-in. HDCP 2.2 is required to support 4K content. Most televisions that are five years old or newer and have HDMI ports will have at least one port that supports HDCP 2.2. It's most likely that the issue could be related to a lower version with either the HDMI Cable you're using or the soundbar itself or even both. We recommend checking that your set up meets these minimum requirements in order to get the best experience with your Chromecast with Google TV.
