    Excessive content and too many recommendations. I have like 4 apps that I use but the home screen is all filled with recommended movies that I don't even have the subscription. I like the responsiveness though. Also, wish it had come with a rechargeable battery

    Google, Googled me. Here I thought they came out with a screaming device with features not seen on any devices and after using it for a few days, it is a lesser version of the Tivo Stream 4k that I've been using. The navigation in the remote is terrible. There is nothing special in this streamer.

    I love the GoogleTV, we use it everyday. 4k is amazing on my new TV but I did pick up a couple 1080s for smaller/older TVs.

    As with any Streaming device, you gotta learn to work with it. I now have mine direct Ethernet Wired. The WiFi was lagging and my device is 10 ft from the Router (clear line of sight). So maybe this is not for everyone.

    Not bad simple to setup sometimes slow no way to close apps so it slows down a lot more when you open even a few apps some apps took forever to show the movies and shows especially Funimation and even Hidive will take a while to show anything the remotes ok you’ll get annoyed with a certain button missing

      We suggest checking the steps below that might improve the performance of your Chromecast with Google TV:
      - Weak or congested networks. Removing some of your connected devices may help relieve congestion. If you verify congestion, we suggest contacting your service provider for resolution.
      - Check for possible sources of interference such as microwave ovens, refrigerator or other equipment. Try placing Chromecast in a straight line of sight from your router.
      - If you have a dual band router, try setting up Chromecast on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands and see which band is more stable.

    Coming from Apple TV, this kinda sucks. The only plus is the watchlist across all streaming services. …which is a huge plus. I love that feature. Everything else is sub par however. I ended up giving this to my aunt and went back to Apple TV. The volume buttons don’t work and it regularly freezes.

      Here are some steps that might clear the issue with the Voice Remote:
      - Forget the remote control from the Settings > Remotes and Accessories > Forget.
      - If there's a pending update, update the remote control.
      - Remove and replace the batteries in the Chromecast Voice Remote.

    The cast feature--the very feature which gives this product its name--didn't work. Ha. After 2 tech support calls and about 2 1\2 hours resetting and trying to make it work, it was determined to be defective. The remote feels nice in the hand. I would give it a worse review but I'm sure not ALL of them are defective. Ha.

    haven't used my 4k firestick since getting this...does everything great and also have it synced to my wifi light bulbs and using google voice button to turn them on and off is fast and easy

    I love this. Works much better than the built in "smart" applications on my TV and I can download other apps like Bally Sports so I can watch my local sports teams.
