The remote and the device itself seem a bit flimsy, especially the remote, very light weight. I can't help but to compare it to Mi Box which is cheaper but way more robust.

However, I have now had two of them. The first have water in the remote and it stopped working. The bad thing is, unlike other devices, each Chromecast device is programmed to work with only one remote. I purchase a second one and it only worked for three months and lines started appearing across my TV. I thought at first that my TV had a problem. my heart went racing as my TV is super expensive. I realized my TV was just fine when I switched to using the TV without the Chromecast. I thought I could return it, but when I checked, it was overdue to be returned. Now I am thinking if it is worth it to buy a third one.
