    Got this so I could watch Facebook live on tv instead of cellphone, still haven’t been able to do.

      You can install the Facebook app on your Google TV directly to enjoy Facebook Live. Simply follow these step by step instructions using the Voice Remote:

      - Say or type Facebook to install.
      - A page will appear with the app.
      - Select Install.

    While the chrome cast does it job, it suffers from a hyper sensitive remote.

    This Chromecast is an excellent improvement I've the originals. I travel with it a lot and have not had any issues accessing wifi with it. The fact that i can install apps on it is fantastic.

    Complete garbage. Interface and everything is great! Will not stream anything without buffering all the time. If you like looking at spinning circles and messages saying connnected to wifi and then disconnected from wifi al night, buy the garbage. Otherwise go with Roku!

      There can be several factors that play into your Chromecast with Google TV's disconnection from your Wi-Fi network. You can check these steps and see if it improves your experience:
      - If you have a dual band router, try setting up your Chromecast with Google TV on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands and see which band is more stable.
      - Check for possible congestion with your Wi-Fi network.
      - Check for possible interference as thick walls and other devices in your home may weaken Wi-Fi signals.
      - Bring your Chromecast with Google TV closer to your router to get better signal reception from your router.

      Hi folklore, thanks for leaving a review about the Chromecast with Google TV. It’s unfortunate to learn that its internal storage isn't enough for your needs, as it fills up quickly with only a few apps.

      The internal storage capacity of the Chromecast with Google TV is 8gb, and adding external storage like a Secure Digital (SD) card to load content isn’t supported. If there are issues with performance of your Chromecast, we suggest clearing the app cache that might help as having a sizable amount of cache stored, would affect its performance. See the steps below:

      - From the Google TV home screen, in the top right, go to the user profile icon and select Settings.
      - Select Apps and choose the app you're having trouble with.
      - If you can't find it, select See all apps.
      - Select Clear cache and then Ok.
      - If clearing the app cache didn't work, you can try to reset your Chromecast with Google TV by following this step by step guide here: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/6254654

    If you want a streaming device completely integrated into your home ecosystem this is tbe one to get. You can control everything in your home and even see your security cameras natively.

    I regret this. I should have bought a Firestick. Shortly after purchasing, it got discontinued. There are still several bugs. Not buying any more Google stresming devices. None of the older ones are supported anymore either.

    Remote stopped working 2 months after puchase

    I originally purchase this product because the Amazon firestick did not support HBO Max. After using the product I came to enjoy it. Unfortunately the remote has stopped working and will not come on. I purchased this product because I do not want have to control the Chromecast through my phone. Stopped working 2 months after purchase

      We recommend resetting your Chromecast and Voice Remote to help fix the issue. You may follow the steps below to perform the reset.

      With the Voice Remote:
      - In the upper right of your TV screen, select your profile and then Settings .
      - Select System and then About and then Factory Reset.

      From the Chromecast device:
      - While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and powered, press and hold the button on the back of the Chromecast. The LED will start blinking yellow.
      - When the LED light turns solid white, release the button and the Chromecast will then reset.

      Your Chromecast with Google TV comes with a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty starting from the date of original purchase.     Works like a charm, not as great as the nvidia shield but at less than half the price its well worth the value. Works better and more compatible than any built in tv software!
