Its an excellent product. Works a lot better and faster than android os of my TV. If not for this, I would have to change my TV. Can do with some updates like allowing multiple Bluetooth connections.

Easy use for streaming, I bought it to cast my phone to my projector. That’s didn’t work as easily as I hoped but works for everything else.

Listen up everyone.. facts coming your way! If you just want a capable streaming device that plays netflix, and your other favs with simple play pause and that's it then this is a 5 star product. If you want a Google devices that interacts with other Google owned products like nest cameras, or need thermostats, or chromecast as easy is the original chromecast, or lastly (name another Google product) and use this device to communicate well? Then move along cause this device is trash. My biggest issue that means truly the world to me is I have 4 nest cameras 5 Google minis, 2 chromecast audios, 2 nest hubs, 1 nest thermostat, 1 Google home (original), 3 Chromecasts, 2 TV's with Chromecast built in and now this Google TV chromecast and if you would think owning them all would grant me a piece of mind that they all would work seemlessly together then you would be hugely mistaken. This Google chromecast with Google TV does not come with nest app or even the home app to view cameras (1 is my nursery camera) and that's super disappointing. As a tech said, "you can voice cast" the camera but that reliability is terrible. Try saying "hey google, cast nest nursery camera to..." Or other commands, 5% of the time you will get the nest camera you want, 95% of the time YouTube will pop up YouTube videos of nest nursery cameras. OMG Please Google, I beg you, make all your devices work better with each other so your ecosystem is more enjoyable. Your ecosystem could be so great if only all your devices worked in harmony the way consumers need them to.

Its really great! Flexibility of casting your google chrome from your computer to the TV, compatible with plenty of apps! The reason why i didnt like the amazon firestick was some media apps were not there or weren't supported. Plus works great with my Google Home, super cool to use voice commands to turn on the TV!!

It's a great device, I recommend it to everyone. I have tried firestick and mistick before, this is better than all of them.

Was tired of the spotty HDMI CEC implementation on my Mibox's (3 and 4) and after seeing how seamless it was to control other devices with this Chromecast, I had to get a few more for the other TV's in my house. Despite relatively similar specs between the two, the UI actually feels much more fluid with this Chromecast as well.

Purchased this item when we started streaming. It is great, we like the feature where we can talk into the remote and search for a movie or television show.

Great device to have most of your media in one place if you didn't already. I have a simple (non smart tv) and this is so much easier than logging into each service on the phone and casting it. Now all the service accounts reside on the device and can be accessed. Netflix, youtube, Crackle, Hulu, Disney +, etc.

Excellent product, small size and great performance

There's a lot to like here but Google's engineered some critical flaws. So the user interface is nice. Pretty easy to use, though it's a little over engineered and a little busy, but it's at least advertisement free, something that ruins Samsung's smart TVs. The remote itself has a very cheap feel, matte brittle plastic that feels too light. The biggest issue I have is this was made for personal use only, it cannot be shared by a couple or family. It allows you to add more than one account, but you can't switch to the other account easily like the YouTube and YouTube TV interface work on most smart or Android TVs. You have to completely sign out of and have the other person sign in. Very terrible design. To use this for a family, you'd have to buy three units and have three HDMIs available. If you're single this is a great value, for a family though it's either expensive to by X3 units for each TV in the house or you'll be stuck with everyone spending five signing in and out everytime you switch users. Hardware has a slight lag-time to it but nothing too bad, especially at this price point.

Great product for streaming, once you sign with your Google account you can download all of your accounts and apps just like an iPad. Loved it.

Needed a device to extend streaming options in a spare bedroom without buying a new TV. Perfect option.

I use this . LG UP8000. I don't like Webos and Google TV is much better. Easy to set up and all the apps I need can be installed. It also supports 5G wireless while the LG TV does not. LG is only 2.4
