It is great for both travel and at home and is much more compact and portable than their fruity competitor and a far better price. PROS - Google brand, functions, and user experience - Easy to use - plug and play - Connects to your existing Google account for access to all your apps or TV anytime - User friendly functionality CONS - Does short-change on other devices' exclusive programming, but not a deal-breaker!

I am still learning the options.It is faster,easier,more options than the amazon fire stick.

I absolutely love it!, I had previously purchased the older version of the chromecast which didn’t have the apps when you start and no remote control, I didn’t know what I was missing until this, it’s much easier.

Works great, I love the features. Having the Google Assistant built-in helps with making actions in a quick fashion. For the price, with the UI, and a free trial of Youtube Premium, I would highly recommend this product.

This Chromecast product was a little stubborn at the setup stage for joining the wifi. A repeated error while trying to connect had suggested it was the Access Point settings on my router. I had never had any trouble connecting all kinds of other devices so I gave up. The next day I tried again and this time it connected with no trouble. The included USB power adapter must be used so you need to have an open outlet near the TV to connect it. The TV's own USB power is not enough. It works well and manages the ebb and flow of a meager 10Mbps connection well without buffering. The voice control is good since if you have multiple Google devices you are probably sick of them all trying to handle the request every time they hear "Hey Google." You can even whisper verrry quietly and it still follow your request. If you have added smart home devices to your Google Home account this works to control them too. It has the usual assortment of apps that are included on most TV devices now, lacking the ability to add any that aren't already available in the library. The Amazon products have it over this device in that respect. Not a costly toy. Just nothing earth-shaking as far as what you can do with it, especially since Google has already bailed on any more development of GoogleTV.

This little gadget turns any HDMI capable ordinary TV into a smart TV, sort of. In fact, the interface and the app library are better than my two smart TVs. Highly recommend the HD version for a moderate wifi connection and the UHD (4k) version for high speed wifi.

This makes using my older "non-smart" tv so much easier, and with so many more options! No need to cast from my phone or tablet anymore:)

Has worked great so far. Only complaint is that there is a little bit of lag from time to time.

I had The Previous Version But Love How This One Has A Remote So I Don't Have To Have All The Apps On My Phone. Definitely Worth The Purchase!
