Very helpful onscreen setup New remote is cool Quick and painless

I’ve had the original Chromecast and one thing it was missing was its own remote. Having to rely on another device to navigate it’s own OS was not optimal. This new current one is the best so far and the FHD version is a great price for what the new Chrome OS offers.

The user interface is much nicer than Amazons firestick. It is far less cluttered and more intuitive. I also like that I can see my Nest cameras on it. This is especially helpful when I'm in the basement watching football and someone is at the front door.

Easy set up and takes over for the tvs regular remote

There are many steps to set it up fully, it takes me around 5 minutes to setup but instructions are clear and easy to follow. This product turns my old TV with HDMI into a smart TV. I was able to stream Hulu, Netflix, YouTube with the device.

Works nicely to cast videos from phone to tv. Dont have to use xbox as much, this is much more convenient even with a smart tv.

This is huge improvement over past iterations. It has transformed our old gear. Had no idea it would consolidate our remotes and apps so easily. So nice not to have to dodge all the proprietary hoops from other streaming dongles.

Google is solid. Google tv is even better. Its scary how well they know me - or all of us for that matter. Google is always listening. Back to the device. Plug and play, link your email and done. Very easy to use amd i loke it better than the firestick. Google has so many options for entertainment and life management.

Went from FireTV sticks to this and never going back. No annoying ads like FireTV and it just works when I need it to work. I have purchased a few more and have been replacing all the FireTV with Google Chromecast devices.

This chromecast has worked great for me so far! I had a bit of difficulty getting the volume button on the side to sync up with my television but, that was a semi-easy fix. I certainly would recommend this to a friend and, in-store pickup for this item was quick and effortless.

[Employee of bestbuy] This is a great way to upgrade a normal tv for streaming. The Roku tv I had just wasn't fast or powerful enough to cast without crashing, but this little thing has no trouble at all. The menu and controls feel super snappy as well, full stars across the board!

We sadly did not get to use this product as it did not work for our set up. It offers countless options for streaming but not for the service we needed. It has five stars because it was capable of delivering the streaming products but not what were needed specifically.

I really like the ease of set up for my TV. I can take that TV outside anytime and set it up within seconds. Its really made my life easier. I'm thinking of getting a 2nd one.

Works as a replacement for old, slow smart tvs. The remote has an IR blaster in it and you can set up controls to allow it to turn the TV on and off l, volume and input control. Great if you can default your tv to the source its plugged into, makes an old TCL roku Tv feel like a new Google TV. And it was under 30$
