I have an older led tv that has a smart platform that is very slow and doesnt work well. Was using a old chromecast and this new one with the remote is 100% worth the upgrade.

I had the first Chromecast without the remote. This is an good upgrade better and faster than SmartTV apps. It's good budget Streaming stick and comes with a remote.

The apps run smoothly and the picture quality is nice while connected to an older TV, the connection to the WiFi is great too.

I bought it during the black Friday and ended up getting 2 additional devices for some TVs without smart capabilities. Works really good and it's easy to set up and use.

I had to buy this for a 22" garage TV that was 1080p. It works great and connectivity has been great. Much better than the old Chromecast and have no complaints for viewing.

I had an original Chrome Cast that was techologically phased out and stopped working, so I got this as a replacement. I like how all my streaming services are in one place and there is also a clean way to tie in something like Hulu + Live TV/YouTube TV/etc. Setup is a pain, however, as you have to go through the on-phone process multiple times to trigger a software update and then need to use the remote to do the setting up. (I had to set up mine and then one for my parents, so it seems to be a recurring issue, at least in March/April 2024.) Also wish it came in black, as the white dongle and cord stand out.

I love it, it has everything I need. Works really well easy to navigate. And I got it at a discount which was awesome.

I got two of them for my old TV's, don't need to have my smartphone with me to cast to TV, remote control can be used to turn on TV and adjust volume on the sound bar.

QWe have struggled to cast our Meta Quest to the TV and this is a simple way to achieve our goals.

I have been using google chromecast 2nd generation and my wife was complaining about it because it didn’t have a remote. Thanks google for fixing that issue with this one

Easy to use, and set up. Definitely get some kind of casing for the remote cause its a bit on the slick side of things and will slide off couches, beds or hands pretty quick.

Easy to install, easy to use and is inconspicuous after being installed on your TV. I would recommend to anyone.

Looking for an upgraded reciever streaming device. This is much improved over my older one.
