Makes old TVs "smart"! Easy to use and compatible with most TVs

I love these. With all the available streaming services today, there is no need to also purchase cable. I have cable installed in the house as I have a few networks that I watch daily. However, have install these in three other locations throughout the house and they entertain all members of the family with the dozen streaming services that I have available on out accounts.

I bought this to replace my previous chromecast which finally stopped working. The new one is way more complex and therefore more difficult to understand, but it also has more options and features, so I guess that's good. Only issue I have (other than my brain can't handle so much complexity) is that I actually have to go to the hdmi to view what I've just cast there. The previous one automatically showed the correct input as soon as I cast it. But I probably just need to get the hang of it. Just so much more to learn!

[Employee of bestbuy] This Chromecast device is awesome. It allows me to get TV stations from all over the world, not to mention 1000’s just in this country alone. It makes watching TV fun again, especially when you have the options to watch what YOU want to watch and in most cases free of charge.

One of the best things I ever bought in my life WHEN IT WORKS. Smooth and responsive. My biggest gripe is that for a good six months, the remote would refuse to stay connected to the chromecast and I would literally have to manually click and hold the button to invoke a new bluetooth connection, and do the process of pairing the remote EVERYTIME the remote does not respond. The thing is, the remote remembers the infrared data for turning on the TV--so the TV turns on fine--but the chromecast itself is uncontrollable. I kept it unplugged and out of use for 5 days because I was moving places. When I plugged it back in, it hasn't presented this problem since. Other than that, it runs smoothly, the remote is designed well and has no distracting buttons. The UI is sometimes choppy if you rush it but much, much better than the UI that comes with TV's today.

This chrome cast is the model. The apps are amazing and everything is n one place. You will definitely be amazed with the variety of programs and shows.

Works perfectly fine and i love the interface of google tv, so much better than android tv used to be.

These are very easy to setup and I really like how all of the streaming services are on one page.

Wonderful streaming device! Great price if you don't need a 4k streaming device.

It is excellent, very easy to use, the only disadvantage it would have is that it needs more ram memory to use more applications

Quick, convenient, and pretty useful. I just wish some of the media advertising was less in your face (why is there a Netflix button on the remote??)
