Works perfect, I prefer that I can easily access my preferred music and movie apps. For the price, it's excellent, and like ROKU, I can have multiple accounts. What I don't like about them is: 1) Apps like Netflix and others that I don't use can't be removed. Alternatively, drag them from the home screen to another location. 2) If you have multiple accounts on your Google Chromecast, the remote will not control the volume keys.

Easy to use, easy to set up, better quality and performance than previous Fire Sticks

This Chromecast w/Google TV is a very good streaming device, But I purchased it, So I could Cast from my Meta Quest 2 VR Headset, and it works very good for that.

Ditching my Rokus for Google TV was the best decision. It's incredibly fast compared to Roku's sluggish menus. Love that it suggests content from all my streaming services, making it easy to find something to watch. Voice control is spot-on, and built-in Chromecast is a huge plus. Highly recommend if you want a snappy, intuitive streaming experience.

Great device which turns your old tv to smart tv. Another cool thing is the remote control, very easy and convenient to use. Also you don’t need your smartphone or PC to watch something (comparing to previous generation). Once you set up your Chromecast, you don’t need your smartphone to pick a source and content. Only thing you need to watch the TV is the remote control. Just turn it and watch.

Surprisingly satisfied. Being now a senior citizen, it is frustrating when you buy something that appears to be understood either by techno-nerds or six year olds, that you can never seem to get it to work as expected. But this is very intuitive. Had no real problems going through the learning curve. Much easier than I expected.

This once was a clear 5-star item. Best UI and has improved, ease of use for remote, portability, ease of screensharing with Android devices and Google apps. It's lost a star thanks to Google's issues with a few key apps that I've used a lot and now for some reason don't even work on Chromecast. Not sure if it's technical, contractual, political (as Google can also be, unfortunately), but it actually ends up deterring me. But again, the actual device and functionality still is one of Google's best and most affordable for the offering and compared to other devices in its genre (Apple TV, Fire Stick).

Works well, easy to use, and affordable. Has access to all the apps I need, except DirecTV Stream. I wish there was an app for that. But I can access on my phone and stream it to the TV through Chromecast.

Inexpensive and very simple to set up. I purchased initially to access my Google Play purchased movies. But with this devise there is so much more. You can easily download apps, like Pluto, that allow hundreds of television shows and movies for free. Yes, you have to watch advertisements, but I've been doing that for decades on both cable and broadcast stations. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

this is such a great product. the updated version with the remote makes everything easier, specially for my parents that are older.
