Using this to bring a 15 year old lcd back to life. We are using the apps like Netflix and also using it to cast from our phones. Awesome that the power and volume buttons control the TV because we no longer have the remote.

Bought 2. 4K and none 4K. And love them both. Sometimes the remote will disconnect from the device. Which sucks. Cause it’s a whole process to reset it. But otherwise. Great devices and easy to use.

Works as a replacement for old, slow smart tvs. The remote has an IR blaster in it and you can set up controls to allow it to turn the TV on and off l, volume and input control. Great if you can default your tv to the source its plugged into, makes an old TCL roku Tv feel like a new Google TV. And it was under 30$

Definitely worth the money. I got to enjoy all my favorite shows and stream my pictures with one click

This is a great way to upgrade a normal tv for streaming. The Roku tv I had just wasn't fast or powerful enough to cast without crashing, but this little thing has no trouble at all. The menu and controls feel super snappy as well, full stars across the board!

Very easy to setup and it works very well for the most part. The only small problem I have with the unit is that it occasionally forgets the name and password for my wireless router. It’s a simple fix to restore it in the Chromecast menus, but I shouldn’t need to once it's set.

I love this product! It is really useful and has a lot of neat apps right at your finger tips. Your television will always feel so new and up to date.

We purchased these when we switched from Dish to streaming - they work great and are pretty east to use. The volume button on the side is a little different to get used to.

Have 2 friends in their 60s who aren't super tech savvy, but get by. We ended up putting three of these in over the course of a couple weeks and after they adjusted to them, they loved them. They no longer pay for satellite TV whatsoever. These units work great.

The gold standard for android phone stream casting. This thing just works, without bother and futzing. My kind of device & easy to use on multiple platforms.

I like it way better than the fire stick. It automatically filled in many of my passwords when signing in which made the start so much easier. It also has a cleaner layout and more intuitive and faster. Love

Wow the Chromecast turns any TV into a smart tv even my Old 3D tv can now get U tube and other websites on my old set.

This is a great product in my opinion. Bought it to replace the first gen Chromecast and was pleasantly surprised. I like the remote control ability, no need for using the phone for casting. Also connected it to a projector and sending the sound to a sound bar via Bluetooth.

From amazon fire stick for a years to Google Chrome cast. I think Google has much better features than Amazon fire stick. Plus I like how cute the remote that it comes with. I am late to switch but not to late to enjoy it. Thanks Google.

Excellent Wifi unleashes these devices. The user interface, IMO, is the best in class. The remote still feels cheap and is annoyingly clicky, but for the price, you cannot fault them. Would like to see a Pro version come out with a spicier remote.

Better than getting a smart TV works more smoothly than any smart TV is I have ever used and synks with Google account. Would rather have a dumb TV with Google TV dongle than a smart TV.

I grabbed this to replace my first gen chromecast that i had. This one ended up on my desk plugged into a monitor, and i have to say i absolutely love it! The remote feels nice, the built-in Google Assistant integration is nice- it just works like you would expect!

Best purchase ever. Makes my old tv smart and the inclusion of a remote is fantastic. Way better than the fire stick which would always be slow and keep freezing. Got the HD since my Tv only supports 1080p.
