They make you buy a whole Android TV box to get it. Goofy form factor: it would be really cool if it didn't take a separate 5V power input, so now you have an egg hanging from the TV's HDMI port and you still need to be in reach of an AC outlet to run the wall wart (cannot use USB from TV, not enough juice). Then they make you sign on to Google for the thing to work, WHY can't I just Chromecast like I want without signing on to all your data collection spy gear??? That being said, once you jump through all the unnecessary hoops that they made necessary, you do have a full Android TV box that you can do other stuff with. Like we all need yet another device to run Netflix, apparently, Paramount+ads, Tubi, etc etc etc. You can run Kodi on it. And it comes with a bunch of Google TV channels where I could find nothing to watch, unlike Roku's TV channels where I found some things to watch. IF you don't already have an Android TV device, this is a cheap entry level. It was redundant for me - I only needed Chromecast. If you want to run Kodi, consider the 4K version because it supposedly has a bit better CPU than the HD version. By the way, the Chromecast worked, too!
