I bought this device and immediately downloaded Steam Link. Connected this with a Bluetooth controller, now I can play games anywhere on the big screen.

I was using amazon fire stick and I decided to give Chromecast with google tv a try. so far its working great and it has more options than my amazon fire stick.

And it was capable of doing that. So that worked out. It also allows you to use various apps and streaming services, like netflix, prime video, disney +, youtube, etc. I had trouble setting it up because it refused to cooporate with my phone, though I eventually set it up without my phone.
