Simply magical

I do not like how fairy tales are trampled on and completely changed so that our jaded, pessimistic viewpoint is justified and satisfied. We need hope that we can be better, as people and as a society, and fairy tales can be a powerful, uplifting tool. Cinderella is a wonderful story, and I was blown away by how the filmmakers tackled this project. Lush sets, wonderful costumes, great special effects, and wonderful performances do not take away the simple message we all need to hear in this life: Have courage and be kind. True beauty is found in this, not appearances. This world is magical, whether we acknowledge it or not. So let's acknowledge it, have courage and be kind, and the magic will come with a bippity-boppity-boo!
