Hi All, I rented Cinderella 2015 first and was enamored with it. Cinderella's character is both a strong woman combined with innocence a virtue rare today. Actress Lilly James should win an Oscar for role playing Cinderella! It is simply Beautiful and for adults better in every way than Disney's 50's cartoon. This movie is great for young and old alike. The artwork is nothing special, and the remake itself is rather straightforward, with only a few notable additions, but it's got a great feel to it, and was obviously made with love. You know what you're gonna get going into it, but that's not always a bad thing. Cate Blanchett's performance as the Stepmother is for sure the best part.

For those used to the Disney animated version of the story, this is a little bit different telling. The story is very good, and it is well acted and the visuals are stunning. I highly recommend this for anyone that is a Disney or princess fan. Note: I pre-ordered at a higher price that when it shipped, and BB only charged me the price when it shipped. I also got it a day before it hit the actual stores, so big kudos to BB.

Time and time again Disney knows how to create a flawless blu-ray presentation. Wether it's their animated classics or their modern live-action films, they put out the best mass-produced discs on the market. Only boutique labels like Criterion Collection and Arrow Video can compete in terms of blu-ray quality.

Despite having seen this story retold in countless knockoffs, books, cartoons, films, etc...the execution here was really great. My daughter was enthralled by the visuals and we both enjoyed the acting. Having a daughter, I felt like a softy given Cinderella's relationship with her father and how that was woven into the story. There was enough emotion in there for everyone and I actually really liked this.

This isn't for everyone. If you're a big fan or just like the look of this one go for it. I would have to warn you though, that many of these showed up at Best Buy stores with scratches and lenticular images that weren't clean. I went to three different Best Buy stores to look for one that was relatively clean looking. I'd recommend being able to see it in person first before buying it. Many stores in the LA area still have them, so I'm sure it can't be too hard to find.

If you love Disney classics then this LIVE action film on the classic tale of Cinderella is a definite must have! Amazing 4k picture quality and the story line is on que with the classic cartoon! I managed to get this at Bestbuy.com at a very good steal of a deal! Don't miss out and get yours while you still can!

A beautiful story that has touched me as a child as well as a grown up. I think we all need to believe in fairy tales of beautiful princess and handsome prince. As well as a fairy godmother to answer our every wish. With fantasy of mice into horses, a pumpkin, a golden coach and a lizard as the coachmen. A fairytale that was written a long time ago and keeps getting better each time it's told again :]

Disney live action recreations of their animated classics are usually a hit-or-miss affair. Thankfully this 2015 movie delivers due to the performances of the leads in this film. Lily James is perfectly cast as Cinderella , Cate Blanchett plays a chilling stepmother that you can still feel some sympathy towards and even Richard Madden is decent in the limited screen time he has as the movies shows his relationship with his father.

I purchased the Disney Cinderella DVD/Blu Ray Combo partly because it was on sale during the Best Buy Black Friday Promotion and since I had seen the Movie in Theaters and liked it. Its always nice to have 2 discs since we only have 1 Blu Ray Player but several DVD players in our house including my Laptop PC. I would recommend any one to buy Cinderella if you are a fan of Disney Family Movies.

Cinderella was a very good adaption of the original following the storyline of the animated Disney movie very closely. The CGI effects flowed very smoothly with the live action. I especially liked the fact that this adaption did not make the stepmother ugly, as that was not the original intent of the story. Even the step sisters stood some chance with the prince whereas the other adaptions made them all ugly. As a child I wondered why the father would marry someone that looked like them when he had been married to such a beauty prior to her death. I give the movie good marks.

Purchased this for my daughter. She really enjoyed the movie and this product allows for a Blu-Ray viewing at home, a DVD for her portable DVD player, and a digital version for mobile. Good deal. Dealy Dealy. Sorry for that last part that was too much! Haha.

I bought this movie pretty much because of Cate Blanchett's playing the evil stepmother. But I would say this movie is purely magical and as an adult, I still have to wipe my tears watching this. This is a great movie. I highly recommend. Sometimes I think we forget we should always be kind and courageous. Cinderella is definitely a good story for this!

While the movie itself is a little dry, it’s certainly a good looking film and the audio/video quality in this 4K release makes it a solid purchase decision.

I really love this version of Cinderella. The writers and director did the story justice and it's visually magnificent. A wonderful addition to any collection even if you already have the original Disney version. I specifically bought this version because I wanted the lenticular packaging as a collectable. It stood out from the other versions available for purchase and I would buy it again.

Our family went to see this movie in the theaters and did not expect to be talking about the movie's message for the rest of the week. In addition to being well written and acted, the movie has an underlying message of grace and forgiveness. If you're paying attention, near the end of the movie, the act of forgiveness was a bit overwhelming and I hope resonates with young and old viewers.

For the most part, I'm not a huge fan of Disney's live action agenda, but when it came to this particular film I was surprised. It does a fantastic job at setting this in the real world, making Cinderella a true three dimensional character, and ultimately this movie will charm the pants off of you. Unfortunately when the iconic magic sequences happen it feels very goofy, and out of place. A strange tonal shift, but other than that this film impressed me and made me care for Cinderella like I never had before.

Disney has made some great movies over the years, but this has to be one of the best. The story has just a little twist....and I love to see Cinderella treating others kindly even when she has not seen kindness. Great teaching opportunity, and the scene with the Fairy Godmother and heading home from the ball are just over the top. Loved it!

With the renewing of Disney live action films in the form of the classic fairy tales revisited, Cinderella brings quality performances to the screen. The magic of Disney is fully present as the tale unfolds in full living color with some charming references to the original Disney animated version. A great film to watch over and over again. The Blueray version is, of course, a must.

Cinderella as an animated feature is a classic in itself, and to try to do a re-make with live action takes a lot of talent. Well, the Disney crew was up to the task. They brought this fairy tale to life with a little help from some CGI magic, but it is a worthy retelling of the story using live actors that will remain a classic as well. Great family fun with a super moral ending!!
