The acting is great. An interesting extension on the Disney animated classic. The costume design is great though. Pretty good 4k transfer. Check it out.

Truly, Disney knows how to make a really entertaining movie. It would appear they can't do much wrong in that arena. This is a great story from Disney's animated past given new life for their string of live-action movies in the present. The special effects and cinematography are great, and each part is very well acted. Cate Blanchett as Cinderella's evil step-mother is brilliant. A very enjoyable watch overall, any fan of Cinderella, Disney's line of princess movies, or Disney movies in general will find this movie fun.

I would say this is better than the animated original only because this one significantly features Cinderella, whereas the original was mostly about the mice.

I enjoyed watching this movie a lot. I first watched this movie in the theater. I could not wait until the movie was released into a 4K DVD. The 4K video is excellent, much better than blu ray or standard DVD quality. I don't mind watching it over and over again.

I, of course being a woman, enjoyed a they lived happily ever after. I thought it was a great movie for adults but not sure that my grandchildren will enjoy it as it may not be a level for them. I will see....the next time my granddaughters are here I will put it in to see if they are old enough to be able to follow it or if this will be a movie down the road for them.

I love this movie. It's very loyal to the story of Cinderella that we all know and love and the actors play their parts well. Anyone who is a fan of the animated movie will love this movie. It also includes the animated short 'Frozen fever' which was highly anticipated and the Best Buy exclusive lenticular case is very beautiful. I would highly recommend this movie.

There are bits that remind you of the Rogers and Hammerstein version of Cinderella. this version is quite likable and those annoying mice aren't as annoying as they are in the animated version. the costuming is incredible and is used to great effect in the story. All in all a nicely done film, the cast is well chosen and the directer talented. I'm glad I bought it.

I bought this movie because my wife and I wanted to see it in the theatres but missed it and we collect Disney movies. I had my reservations at first but found it to be a great rendition of the Disney animated version. It's goes in deeper to each character and the visual effects are awesome in this. Must own movie for fans of the original. If not, definitely rent it to watch it and make the decision to purchase if you like it.

Honestly, I have not watched this movie, but we (my family) own it. My wife and daughter saw it in the theater and they thought it was a great movie. So my wife preordered the movie to be a part of our Disney movies collection. As matter of fact my daughter is dressing up as Cinderella for Halloween and not a minion so that must say something about the movie.

Kids loved it and a lot of family fun. The live version did not disappoint. Great remake! It follows pretty much to the tee of the original. Lily James is fantastic as Cinderella. Kids enjoyed this more than the original. Colors are vivid and the picture quality is quite good. Audio is full and very immersive.

The low rating isn't for the movie itself. I base my rating on the artwork. The movie was okay. But the artwork could've been much better.

I am a fan of almost all Cinderella stories, with my favorites being Ever After and Rodgers and Hammersteins with Lesley Ann Warren. This version is so lush and with beautiful music it combines some of the best of the aforementioned versions and surpasses the original Disney animated. as soon as I saw this in the theater I knew I would have to own it.

So I can say Cinderella was never my thing. But my wife just had to have this movie. And being the good husband I am I agreed to watch it with her lol. But I can honestly say it was a pretty good movie. Much better than I expected. With definitely be one I show my kids some day.

Did not get to see this movie in the Theaters so I purchased it on DVD. I thought it was wonderful; Especially for viewing with entire family. There was no crude humor that I detected, which might be offensive to younger children. Except for the original Disney Cinderella which is a classic, I think this is the next best Cinderella movie I have seen.

I love the story of Cinderella and this version is even better than most of the others. Cinderella makes her own destiny because of her character. I thought the entire cast did a wonderful job of bringing this classic story to life. There are some nods to Disney's animated movie, but there are a few differences, too. Everyone can enjoy this movie!

This is such a beautiful telling of the Disney classic Cinderella. It’s visually beautiful and touches all of the correct emotional notes. Granted this isn’t a musical, but the music in it is beautiful. And the fact that it comes with the digital code, the DVD, and the Blu-ray, you just can’t beat it!

As an adult in the Art field i enjoyed this movie very much and was happy to see a film with a positive message for all. Much thought and creativity went into this beautiful film creating a modern classic! I enjoyed the extra features which told how the film was made. Be sure not to miss the songs at the end of the movie (during the credits)!

one of my wife's all time favorite movies. all things on disk look better than streaming. if you like owning physical copies get this one. Plus it comes with a digital copy for your online library.

This re-telling of the cinderella story is as wonderful as the original cartoon that Disney made, minus the songs and talking animals. :) I highly recommend this for those that have little princesses in their homes, as well as for those that just want to see that there is always a silver lining at the end.

I have always been skeptical about the classic cartoon I have seen growing up, and having it turned in to a movie, but as Disney always has done, they proved again that they can still tell a story and make magic. The acting was a bit of everything from drama, comedy, and of course romance. I absolutely love Haley Atwell, shes kinda dreamy.
