Cinderella is a powerful film starring Lily James as Cinderella, Cate Blanchett as the Stepmother, and Sophie McShera as Drisella and Holiday Grainger as Anastasia. Ella’s early years while her parents (played by Ben Chaplin and Hayley Atwell) were in her life are nearly charmed and idyllic. Ella’s father is a wealthy merchant who works abroad. Ella’s mother communicates an important message to her to be both brave and kind. However, Cinderella’s life is turned upside down once her stepmother begins to control her life. Meeting the Prince (Richard Madden) is one of the bright spots in her life. The Captain (Nonso Anozie) is a close advisor of the Prince and takes on the role of a protector and lookout for the Prince who shows in different ways in how he is only trying to help the Prince. The Prince has a close relationship with his father (Derek Jacobi). Helena Bonham Carter and Stellan Skarsgard also play significant roles in Cinderella (and obviously) there is so much more to the movie than the details I included here for good reasons. The bonus features to the film; Ella’s Furry Friends, Frozen Fever (via Walt Disney Animation Studios;One of the sisters decides to prepare a birthday party of the other sister in Frozen Fever). There are also short snippet images for Hero 6, Monster Inc., Tinkerbell, advertisement For Disney Movies Anywhere, Trailer for Disney Nature’s Born In China (featuring Panda Bears and a setting that looks like the wild forests of China, I’m only guessing and I understand that it could be something else). Trailer for an exclusive all new short film titled Riley’s First Date, trailer for the Tomorrowland movie, and an emphasis on the fact that all films and promotions may not be available in all territories.

My entire family thought this movie was great. I even thought the screenplay was well written. Sometimes, when you are watching a movie, you might hear someone say just something stupid, bad wording, that was written in the scripted. Or even really, that's his reaction. For a Disney movie well know, I think the director did a great job on this film. I did not feel the romance was "forced" in this adaptation. Sometimes In movies you can feel a romanced being forced - fake, it makes the movie just bad. I thought it was natural and well flowing sequences. I loved this movie.

We just finished watching this fantastic film and it is absolutely one of the most beautiful Disney films made in my opinion. Outstanding acting, perfect high quality filming and such a heartwarming, touching story as Cinderella always was, makes it a MUST have in your movie collection! Young or old, you will love it! If I could rate it higher than 5 stars I certainly would!

This Cinderella remake renewed my faith in Disney's attempt to remake their classics. If you hated Maleficent and Snow White & the Huntsman. DO NOT SKIP THIS ONE! IT IS THE BEST SO FAR!

I love this movie!! All my family members do to! If you have kids or your just into Disney movies I would get it! Even if your not a big fan, it will be a great movie I promise you wont be sorry you got it. It is so good! Also the quality is amazing!

Most films today are afraid to be straightforward, to be honest, and to focus on a genuinely good protagonist who lacks almost all flaws. This film is not. It sticks to the original Cinderella story we all know and love from the famous Disney cartoon without subverting it, making it an action adventure, or updating it. It feels like a time capsule of a film that takes you too a simpler time. Most films like that fail in this day and age (such as Julia Robert's and Lilly Collin's Snow White film from a few years ago), but this film succeeds. Great cinematography. Great blu-ray disc.

I think it is a really great movie, it may be based off an old movie but it is amazing. If you think it wont be good, and there is no quality to you then don't get it, but it is an amazing movie!! I even have it!!!

The costumes, oh my, the costumes. Cate Blanchett looked amazing, even though she was the 'villain' in this story. I don't even like her as an actress, but she was stunning. The ending was kinda meh, and the main character was a little too happy, and goody goody.. I think I liked how beautiful everything was, visually appealing scenery, costumes, etc. As far as the ending, it wasn't really something that I saw as panning out.. did she really think her plan would work? eh..

I you kinda like Maleficent or some of the other remakes this one is the BEST OF THEM ALL all the kids and family from age 1 my daughter to my my grandmother or 76 all loved this movie and never lost interest on the movie at any point I give it a 15 of a 10... MUST BUY AND COLLECT!!!!

I love this movie so much I will watch it over and over again, it's such a great movie it's really almost exactly like the animated version, I love cinderella so much, such a sweet and wonderful movie:)

If you like remakes movies like Maleficent or some of the other, this one is the BEST , who doesn't like Cinderella. Great movie for all age groups, have to had it and add it to my collection.

I'm a big fan of classic fairy tales and this updated version of Cinderella did not disappoint. I absolutely loved it! If you're a Disney film fan like me, you won't go wrong choosing this title.

Classic movie all families how to watch and I must have for your collection

A very good movie. They followed the main story line beautifully the special effects were amazing and the characters were just delightful. A fantastic film for the whole family to watch.

This is my first time purchasing a Best Buy exclusive. I absolutely love the alternative lenticular slipcase. I have loved the movie since I first saw it in theaters.
