Cate Blanchett was outstanding. Lily James was picturesque and breathtaking in her ball gown. That said I really wanted to love this movie, even buying it before seeing it but wish I had only rented it. Didn't fall in love with the prince, the to basic storyline and the step sisters were just plain stupid. Didn't develop the love story enough but enjoyed Helena Bonham Carter, the Carriage and lizards.
