OK, I got this movie early in my 3D education. Here's the deal: If I get a movie in 3D it doggone well better give me all the bells and whistles. The problem with the medium is if its not shot in 3D, then you are gonna have issues such as ghosting, blurry action sequences, and sub par 3d viewing experiences. Unfortunately, that's what you get here. Now if you compare the effects of this movie VS Resident Evil: Afterlife, or Avatar, then you will see what i mean. If I get a 3D movie, I want the pictures to pop, the bullets flying out of the screen at me, and all the bells and whistles because THAT'S why my dumb self spent all the cash i did on all this stuff in the first place. If you are wanting great 3D effects, this isn't the best of the batch.

I found this movie to be quite thrilling in 3D! Unlike the other reviewers I thought this was candy for the eyes and thoroughly entertaining in the 3D format and a handsome addition to my growing collection. Top notch special effects and fine acting make this a highly recommended feature for the whole family although it might be a bit too intense for younger viewers.

The 3D version made the movie a lot better...We reallty enjoyed the movie...

Dont expect the new Clash of the Titans to be like the old version, the story line has changed a little. The visual effects are great but probably better in 3D. The acting is ok. Overall the movie is entertaining and enjoyable

I never got a chance to see the original so I don't know how it holds up to that one. However I thoroughly enjoyed this version. Cinematography was excellent, just some of the acting was a little sub par. Not hateful though.

Okay storyline. Great special effects. Lots of action. I recommend watching the 3D version if you have the setup. It was a worthwhile addition to the movie. Although there weren't any extremely eye-popping scenes, it was an added element that made the movie more interesting. I originally watched it in 2D and thought I would never watch it again. After viewing the 3D version, I can see myself watching it just for the effects and scenes in 3D.

This movies is simply brillant. The storyline is very easy to follow but still a very fun and thrilling one to boot! The special effects are amazing and its justified! They dont beat you over the head with all of the effects buts its enough to make the movie #1! And they dont stray too much off the beaten path of the Mythology. They stick to the original ideas/storys of all the creatures, gods, mortals, etc. Only thing bad is that the special features are next to none. But the movie itself is enough to counter-effect that little detail.

I love watching the 1st of the mytholgical movies The action keeps you interested in what is going to happen next (even though you already know) Can hardly wait to see if they make a third one

This is a great movie in my opinion. The action and special effects are on point and I love the final scene. Great movie just do not expect surprising twists or an amazing plot,

I couldn't help but compare it to the original movie, and overall I liked it. Minor criticism would be the costuming of the three witches. Looked very fake. Otherwise it was very good.

the Action keep you busy, but I still liked the Original Version with Harry Hamlin from the 80s the FX and Sounds are great, Creatures are Awesome so friends its worth Buying

Very good cgi. I have not seen the original and iv heard that the new one is Not as good if you have seen the first so a rental would suffice but other than that, great buy.

I absolutely love this movie. Unfortunately, the 3D version is suprisingly underwhelming. In fact, I noticed virtually zero 3D effect throughout the entire film. If you're looking to buy this movie, the 2d blu ray is alot cheaper. If you already have the regular blu ray copy, don't bother upgrading because it's not worth it.

Growing up with the original film from the ealry 80's, this is definetly a much better rendition. THe original was pretty cheesy, even though by some its considered a sorta classic. Alot less cheese in this one, muchy better special effects and alot more action. Typical of today's movies..........

As an adventure and fantasy lover, I thought the Clash of the Titans movie hit it dead on the nail! If you loved the original movie, you will be pleasantly surprised of the re-make! The storyline was superb, and the anamation was done cleverly with the look of realism! The DVD has great movie quality, and the sound was fantastic with me using a 5.1 surround sound. I have watched this movie twice after purchasing it.

Ya buy it used ,dont waist your money on it new. Sam Worthington did an ok job in it ,but the acting wasnt very good . The new up to date re-due version was not at all what the original .was about. I didnt mind watching it, there was plenty of action and adventure in it . If your a fan of the original movie you may think of this one as a let down.

Very cool graphics and special effects - DEFINITELY glad I purchased the movie and, as always, Best Buy prices were great!

This was a great remake of the very cheesy original. I don't understand why many people did not like this film. Apparently a lot of people went and liked it since the sequel has already been announced. So when you think of this film as the first chapter it makes more sense.

Not bad remake of the original. the plot and characters were done better than I expected. Fun movie overall.

I saw the origianl version and thought the newer adaption was really good with a few different twists...
