the original was amazing... this remake tends to just steal the story line of the video game "god of war" in order to defuse any possibility of a god of war movie being made. although the 3D makes it more enjoyable, it doesnt make the bland storyline from being completely flat.

Poorly made movie. Not good enough to hold my attention for longer than 10 minutes.

The first review is dead on, but i have to put my 2 cents in so the stars even out. Movie remake was a little disappointing. The 3D is god awful. They should have to put a label on the front of the cover saying=== THIS MOVIE WAS SHOT IN 2D AND WAS EDITED INTO 3D=== 1 star Thanks!! :)

I was disappointed in how the story was told. It felt like everything in the original movie was jammed into the first half-hour of the re-make. The special effects are good. But I felt the original was better. The original story was well told, there was humor, and of course it was a love story. The special effects in the original are sub-standard as compared to today's technology, but they were good at that time. Characters were left out in the re-make. Namely Bubo the owl. He was the comic foil to Burgess Meridith's character. I will stick with the original.

This was painful to watch. Don't watch this expecting to see some good 3D action. This movie was shot in 2D then converted to 3D later, and now stands as the golden standard on how NOT to convert a movie to 3D.

I love the movie itself but the 3D was terrible! I would recommend to buy this movie in bluray but save your money on the 3D version because you would be very disapointed!

What can I say. They ruined the story line. Deleted characters that shoould have been there no Bubo. No comparison to the original. This version sucks! I was really amazed how bad someone could ruin a good story. Forget this one and get the original 1981 version. The fx are not as good but the story is better.

I was really disappointed in this movie. A good cast, a good opportunity and apparently a great deal of money were wasted on this. It was hard to follow the plot and the entire thing felt like looking at a paint-by-numbers picture. It's a picture, but not greater than the sum of it's parts.

This movie was terrible. I bought b/c I wanted to watch something in 3D and hadn't seen this movie. Let me begin by saying that I am a movie buff and love movies. This one is the exception, it was horrendous. Sorry! I wish I could get my $30 back.

This movie should have been a remake not a redo. The 3D was horrible and goasting was tedious to watch. At times I thought I was watching without glasses.

this is the worst purchased i ever made,, thought i was buying the 4 disc set like what they have, ,, but it does not come with the digital copy or slipcovee,, don't waste your time on this movie

They should title the move " TRASH of the titans" because that's exactly what it is. The story line is...TRASH. The 3D quality is...TRASH. Waste of $$ and time on this movie.

Really bad movie!! Waste of money. Definitely a rental.
