the movies isn't the best thing it can be, it has a great cast but it falls shortly in the long run. The script and character development are not as great as they could be. It isn't a bad movie though. the CGI and action are great throughout the movie and the soundtrack could be better but it does have its high points

The story begins Perseus a demigod ,the son of Zeus in greek mythology. Men rebel against the Gods which created them. Zeus decides to punish them by releasing the Kraken. As result, a adventure ensues with very few laughs.But, plenty of action. Worth watching once.

Bubo was a great character from the original. It was a missed opportunity not to include him but the monsters they did include are cool. Plus Liam Neesons! The extras are ok but not as in depth as I would like.

The steel book looks nice, and adds class to what is really an average "sword and sandals" movie. That said, I'm a sucker for these sorts of things. The movie transfer itself is excellent, and well worth the blu ray upgrade vs DVD.

Its a great action movie with a decent story although I think the original had a better storyline... I bought this movie for the 3D effects which are not bad. I have a large 3D movie collection and this is a good addition to my collection! :)

This movie is not very good, but is entertaining when it has to be. if you are looking for a serious drama about Greek gods...keep looking!!

Why does Hollywood mess up and update classic films? I thought the remake was average despite the production and CGI being incredible.

I absolutely love this movie. Unfortunately, the 3D version is suprisingly underwhelming. In fact, I noticed virtually zero 3D effect throughout the entire film. If you're looking to buy this movie, the 2d blu ray is alot cheaper. If you already have the regular blu ray copy, don't bother upgrading because it's not worth it.
