This movie is a classic. For the time it was filmed it is decent.

For those of us who remember the 80s fondly and can recall watching this on Sunday afternoons on network tv, this boy ray is a delightful upgrade in picture and sound quality that will make it feel like a brand new experience. Well worth it, especially at the price!

Forget the new special effects..go with this classic

This movie was done well before CGI was used in movies. The special effects are actually done in person, not by computers, depicting the old Greek or Roman gods.

It's an ok movie and Burgess Meredith was an awesome actor but the movie has 3 nude scenes and there should be a warning about it on the back cover.

if you are looking for special effects do not get this one. back then they didnt have much in the line of computer special effects

But the blu-ray quality could have been better. Looks more like a poor upconvert.

good movie. love history and Greek and Roman mythology

Purchased this in the physical store on 3/18, justifying it as a free upgrade from my DVD version since $8 Kong Skull Island movie cash was supposed to be included. No movie cash code was printed on the receipt, and no one in customer service could resolve the problem. So I returned it and left Best Buy angry, having wasted my time.

Several other reviewers gave this Blu-ray low marks because of what they considered to be a "bad transfer." I disagree, and think a better way to describe this disc would to call it "uneven." This is a 1980s film, and it does exhibit the characteristic "softness" and grain that appear in almost all high-def transfer of 80s movies. The fact that people are complaining about grain being present is kind of silly, considering the movie's age. If there was no grain, it would be an indicator that the movie had been scrubbed with digital noise reduction, which would be much worse. I'll take grain over everyone looking like mannequins any day. I will say, however, that the picture quality on this discs swings back and forth wildly between "decent" and "pretty bad," but this is more the fault of the original film source than it is the fault of the Blu-ray transfer. Some scenes look very clear (with a film-like amount of grain) and others seem unreasonably noisy or dark. Warner did the smartest thing here that they possibly could have done with such a problematic film source: clean up scratches and dirt, keep the original soundtrack (instead of creating an artificial surround sound track) and then avoid using any kind of digital sharpening or grain removal. This is the best that this movie could possibly look in HD, and it's definitely worth the price if you are a fan.

This a good movie about Perseus and the Gods. I like it on Blu-ray. Some scenes look amazing, but there are some scenes that don't look so good. With the Blu-ray version of this movie, it is a digi-book. It has stuff about the actors and the character in the movie. Overall, good Blu-ray movie.

This is a must-have, 1980s cinematic phenomenon! The mythology is shaky, given that the title clash is between two creatures that are not, in fact, titans in the classical sense. What the heck the Kraken is doing here at all is a mystery, as well as what happened to the third head of Cerberus (here called Dioskilos, meaning two dogs). Anyway, if you can get past the cheesy old-school animation and terrible script, this is a keeper that kids and adults will enjoy for years to come.

A Classic Movie if you are a Lover of Greek Mythology this is a wonderful movie, great special FX for its time. in the style of Jason and the Argonauts One of the Top Movies on my list of Favorites

This movie is one of my favorites of all time it's about time they put it on Blu Ray the special effects are outstanding acting could have been a little better but then again I bought this for the effects it is in the tradition of the great Harryhausen, style. I am a fantasy and monster buff and can't get enough of this movie they should have made more.

I love this movie! The characters are fun, the plot moves swiftly, the music is great, but best of all are the Ray Harryhausen monsters. What fun those are! Reliive some classic mythological cinema with this great film. You will not be dissappointed.

How can you not love the original Clash of the Titans??? So some of computer graphics are a bit cheesy...they were ahead of their time for when the movie was made. I like Greek mythology so this is a favorite of mine.

I like this version of the movie first cause it's the original version and second and third cause on the new version they cut a lot of the character and changed it to a whole different story

The characters are believable. I'm glad they seemed to follow he myths as best they could and didn't have to go all Disney on it. Of course the real myths are much better.

This is a classic movie that I have loved for years. I think it is better than the recent remake. It features many classic actors, and a young Harry Hamlin.
