I've seen the 2010 version and I still like this classic much better. For 2010 the special effects are low budget..but for its time it was great.

I saw this a long time ago when I was a kid. It was awesome then, and it stands the test of time.

The original is still the best. Even with a few flaws this is a classic movie. Much better than the remake.

This movie is a great classic! The images and sound are absolutely amazing.

Totally classic. It's a must have for true classic movie fans.

i realy hope the new verson is a lot like the old one

This review is for the Blu-Ray edition and not for the actual movie, which is one of my favorites from my childhood. The transfer to Blu-Ray is really bad. Most of the scenes are grainy and don't come close to looking like a Blu-Ray 1080p movie. This is probably one of the the worst looking Blu-Ray movies ever put out. It seems whenever there is a special effect on the screen the movie looks grainy and that is quite often. There are some scenes that look good but most of them do not. The transfer is horrible. The booklet that comes with the Blu-Ray is nice but it doesn't make up for the lousy film transfer. If you already own the first DVD that came out back in the early 2000's I wouldn't bother buying this version.

i bought this movie so i could see it before i go see the new release.But this movie, i thought was going to look great on blu ray. i was wrong !!! it's not in blu ray, it's a "BAD" transfer and the sound is even worse. It's not even in 5.1 or 7.1. what a let down ! So save you money and go to show and see the new version

am i the only one who thinks a movie which shows [no offense to women] a full on breast with nipples and a womans butt a bad movie for anyone under 18 not to mention horrible quality and quite worse animations

no english audio regular dvd is better the transfer is horrible; I wouldn t even buy this for a dollor, I would not recommend this
