I love some of the old classics but they are not for everyone. This film almost broke the production company that put it out. Compared to the films of today it's hard to imagine. I loved it. Kind of a simple story. Looks almost like a stage play where some of the action takes place off screen. Acting is great. If you like epic films like this, great, but I'm not sure if todays audiences would like its charms.

Considered a classic now, but wasn't a hit at the time, Cleopatra remains part of movie legend as being one of the most expensive movie epics ever made.
