The new restoration of the film is amazing. Organic color and film grain remain with enhanced detail. The new Atmos mix is aggressive and bombastic. Majorly recommended.

This review is for the 4k release; the video and audio are much improved from prior versions. I did comparisons and the new 4k edition was far better in both video and audio.

A great action movie with some fantastic mountain shots and great cinematography. One of sly’s best action movies. A well rounded cast with lots of stunts and exciting action sequences. A fun movie to experience overall.

Cliffhanger is a solid 4K remaster! The incredible 4K High Dynamic Range video, combined with the addition of an active and encompassing Dolby Atmos audio mix really bring the characters and scenery of this story to life!

Was super pumped when I saw that this movie was remastered in 4k! Some amazing scenes that really show off the HDR and the Atmos track is great also! I think you should add this to your collection right now.

It’s great to see movies released in 4K from a time period when we didn’t have a display they could do 4K in our homes. The story is the same which is OK nothing amazing but the 4K scan of the original 35mm is great

One of my favorite Stallone movies. Fun story & stunning scenery. Fantastic in 4K -- some of the footage of the Italian alps is as good as watching a BBC documentary.

If you find this 4K movie on sale I'd say pick it up. I was expecting some great Atmos surround sound with this old movie but I didn't notice anything significant.

The 4K transfer for cliffhanger was great. The picture quality was an improvement over the 1080p and along with the updated sound this is a must own 4K disk.

I love the cinematography of this movie. Stallone is stellar and I loved Jon lithgows villain, great movie!!!

If you like a classic movie with new clearer formatting in 4K then this is a must have for the old collection!
