Far removed from other sci-fi landmarks of the late 70s/early 80s, Steven Spielberg's opus expresses enchantment and wonder of what mysteries the universe may contain and the experiences that lie ahead of the human race. Picture and audio quality is good, considering the age of the material.

This disc was the reason I purchased a 4K Blu Ray Player. It's absolutely perfect!

The movie is hokey, but I still enjoy watching the bad parenting style of Richard Dreyfuss. Comedy, drama and a visual treat.

Glad this classic got a updated steelbook release. Nice gloss finish. Digital code included has 3 versions of movie.

Audio is great, picture is good. A bit grainy. If you know the story it is worth getting.

Classic movie. We love it but just hadn't added it to our collection. Problem solved!

Of course the story is intriguing but the video and audio quality of this version supercedes that of any previous version.
