Decent Movie. Kids liked it. 2nd movie is better. I would recommend.

Bought this movie because of the digital copy to load into VUDU account for grandson. Realized after opening that the digital copy is expired! Since we opened it though it's too late to return. Best Buy should do a better job in online product description to let the consumer know that the digital is no longer any good and it should have a reduced price since it is a defective (due to expiration) product.

Nope. didn't like this movie. I guess kids might just think that it is fun. But for me I pretty much thought it was stupid.

Watched this many times in 3D and non-3D Excellent movie for kids and the family. Hilarious and will keep you laughing. Everything about this movie is about a person just trying to prove himself but keeps failing at the same time till an accidental overcharged invention changes everything for him and the small sardine town he lives in. A definite buy. You won't be disappointed.

As a movie, I can not say much bad about this one. The concept and plot are wonderful. The voices are superb, and the animation looks fantastic. Sony has done a wonderful job with this movie. This was one of the earliest 3D blu-ray releases, and it still stands up as one of the best 3D animated releases to date. The 3D blu-ray houses the 2D and 3D versions of the film, so the 2D only version has a tad more extras than this one.

I waivered between giving this 2 or 3 stars. Went for 3 because, as much as I hated it, my little boy LOVED it. This is/was a GREAT children's book and we were really looking forward to seeing it. The movie, however, stinks. The actors do what they can with a stupid plot and the effects are cool for what they are. It's a little gross at times with everyone getting morbidly obese eating everything they want. With all that said, my six year old LOVES this movie. He liked that the main character is a crazy science guy and was totally into all the cool gadgets and effects. He's been waiting since we saw this in the theater to finally buy the thing. I'm letting him (with HIS money and with a coupon) but this is one that will be shown when friends are over or when I let him watch something alone. I already wasted two hours of my life watching it at the theater, I won't make that mistake again.

I love this movie, it was great finally being able to purchase. I am a big Anna Farris fan and to know that she was in an animated movie was just too precious. My whole family loved the characters in this movie. It will make you laugh. Definitely worth more than one watch.

Watched this movie only because I was bored and had nothing else to do. Was VERY surprised at how good it was. Best non-Pixar animated movie I have ever seen. Even rivals some of the Pixar movies. If you enjoy those types of movies, get this, you will not be disappointed.

The monkey was my favorite. I caught the last 10mins of movie on tv thought "How did i not see this movie" .. soo.. the next day I bought it, Personally when it came out i thought it was going to be lame. But It was actually a really really funny movie!

Overall, it was a pretty good movie to watch; however, if you are looking for awesome 3D popping effects this is not the movie for you. I will say that watching the movie in 3D is definitely better than the standard TV mode however besides the raining sprinkles at the begininng of the movie no real 3D popping effects.

I was a little upset after seeing Monsters VS Aliens because at least that movie set a great tone for what was going to come for 3D. I love the fact that things popped out the screen in Monsters vs Aliens. I didnt see not one thing pop out the screen on here and I feel it was a waste of my money. Im all about things popping out the screen. Thats why I spent $2,500 on the TV
