Somewhat disappointing

I bought them on a Friday night before a Monday morning urgent need for communication, and I bought the last 2 packs in the store. One of the walkie-talkies did not work at all, but, because we desperately needed as many as we could get for the first day of school, I did not return the package of 3 so that we could use the other 2. Not all worked well initially - some did not turn on and charge right away - but I was able to get all but 1 to work. The rest have been working for the past few weeks, but the push buttons are not consistently and easily responsive to talking and turning on/off, and it sometimes requires a few tries.
