Good, if you really need on

I bought it to communicate with family and friends on a cruise. More cumbersome to use than a telephone, but worked ok on the cruise.

Great reception.

My son takes one with him when he goes to his friend house which is two blocks away, so that I can stay in contact with him. The reception is always great. I bought this item at Bestbuy for $79.99. It was a little pricy but since I have not had any problems with it so far, it was worth buying.

Great Item for Camping

Most unfortunately, there is so much technology in the place where we live that there is too much static for a clear signal in the city. Smaller sizes make them excellent for children to handle or to be carried in a small space. Nice!
