We had to move to the backyard (Open Space) to get anywhere close to 2 miles.

Poor clarity of broadcast - Avoid

My wife and I use two way radios when we're backing our large RV into campsites to overcome blind spots and confusion over hand signals. My wife stands at the back of the campsite to guide me in using the two way radio. We're physically within 40 feet of each other. The broadcast quality and clarity of the Cobra radio is horrendous. It is garbled and static filled, requiring frequent requests of both of us to repeat our last message. Our old Motorola two way radios were crystal clear on the same channel. These Cobra radios are basically useless. Avoid.

Wouldn't turn off so I took batteries out of it. Called cobra and absolutely no help. Basically out $80. Couldn't return because over the 30 days and cobra told me to keep resetting it. I emailed them and 3 weeks later they responded saying to follow online instructions. Lol. Pathetic still have them charging on my bar because I don't wanna throw $80 away.

THIS WAS SO WE COULD KEEP IN TOUCH WITH EACH OTHER. ALL THE WAY THERE WAS PLENTY ON NOISE AND A LOT OF THE TIME NOTHING. VERY DESPLEASED. HOWEVER, UPON ARRIVING IN MISSOURI I WENT TO BEST BUY IN JEFFERSO CITY WHERE THEY DID GIVE STORE CREDIT. I WILL USE IT TO HELP BUY A T.V.
