This is a pretty good movie worth a watch !!!!!!!!

I like to purchase and collect movies in 4K and HD sound, so, I saw this movie with Nick Cage and thought that I would buy it. It looked like a sci-fi movie that I would like and Nick Cage has made so good sci-fi movies in the past. Well; I heard he was doing a lot of movies trying to pay off some of his debts and that may just be some fake news; but, he sure played a poor role in this movie and the entire movie was awful. Do not waste your money by buying this one. It started out badly and didn't get any better. I kept thinking...it's got to get better in time, right? haha

After Mandy I was very disappointed In The end wanting more. This got announced and looked good! Went to like 4 different Best Buy’s just to find one and man, it still bad.. I did not like it And the cgi is still bad. Don’t watch this the movie is all over the place and acting is t as good, cages acting is still over the top. Check this out There’s a scene where he’s inside his car screaming and he looks to the camera just he can see the cameraman is getting all of that, that was just cringy and bad. I stopped it at that moment and took it off, I didn’t even finish it. That’s how bad and pointless it was

This movie is so bad, it is such an awful movie!!! Maybe even one of the worst movies I have ever seen! And the family is so dysfunctional it makes it so hard to watch. I had so much faith that is movie would be good (Most likely because of the actors) that I bought the 4K movie... huge, huge mistake!!!!! I wish that I had been warned.

I bought this because I am a movie buff, and it was available on 4K. I love most every movie I see, but this one was too far out for me. It was just weird and mostly incoherent. It did look good in 4k, but that is not enough reason to buy it. 2/10

This movie is very boring while some may love the lovecraftian Elements it is not presented in an entertaining fashion and nothing circles back.

A very disappointing film considering Nicolas Cage most often signs on to worth while projects. I was left feeling Cage did this for the money.

Great to see a Lovecraft text so painstakingly manipulated and re-imagined for the modern era. Richard Stanley has a clear-eye for the often unattainable images that emerge from such an uncomfortable figure in horror literature. The familial dynamics and the deliberate pacing goes hand in hand in connecting buried trauma with cosmic dread. It stumbles in the final stretch and budgetary constraints keep this from reaching the height of late-80s/90s Lovecraft adaptations, but it's mostly sturdy. Nicolas Cage, as always, is one of the bravest and greatest performers to ever step in front of a camera. He brings back his Vampires Kiss accent for some scenes which is a bit weird but fun in a goofy way. Recommended for horror fans or fans of meticulously crafted mental breakdowns.

4 and 5 star ratings for anything new... This movie was just bad. Half the actors didn't hit the marks, the storyline was stolen from 5 or so good movies and put together poorly. I could go on but it'll do well anyways. People are starving for a good... new movie. Feeding them this is like handing out condiments to people without food, just cruel.
