I recently did a stereo upgrade and spent close to 45 minutes with one of the install techs going over different options and coming up with a game plan. They were really helpful and got everything ordered for me and told me to call once everything gets delivered to setup an install appointment. Once everything came in I tried to call and setup the appointment like they asked but the phone just rang and never got answered or went to a voicemail regardless of what time I tried calling so I wound up scheduling the appointment online. When the day of the install came I showed up with everything they had ordered for me and went over all of the details one last time before handing over my keys at which point the install tech tells me that everything looks good but the block of time that the online appointment had booked wasn't long enough and asked if they could keep my truck over night so that they would have enough time to do everything. Luckily it was early on a Saturday and I didn't need two vehicles at the moment so I told them that'd be fine. Then around 2 hours after dropping off my truck I got a call from another install tech who told me that the install package they had charged me for wasn't going to cover everything I had requested and it would be another $250 but offered to cut a few corners to reduce the increase (like only replacing part of the factory wiring instead of upgrading all of the speaker cables). I told them no thanks I wanted everything done right and to proceed with the work that I had originally requested. The next day I never got a call back to let me know if they had completed the work or not so I called them around 5:30 not realizing the store closed at 6:00 on Sunday's and the tech told me their shop "may" be open later than that if I wanted to "try" coming in to get it. Since there was no way I could make it there before closing I just decided to wait another day to pickup my truck but then I got a voicemail at 7:45pm saying that they were just now closing the shop and hoped to see me tomorrow? When I finally went in to pick up my truck after two days the install looked good and everything sounded great but the $250 additional charge that they had told me over the phone had somehow gone up to $340 "because they forgot to add some stuff". Overall I'm happy with the quality of the install but am very disappointed and upset with how long everything took, the poor communication, and the additional charges despite spending so much time up front going over every detail.

the speakers sou d so much better then the standard speakers that came with the truck and I got them on sale for $80 a pair
