Worst Install

Blaire is the man!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I supplied a set of front door speakers to be installed in my '06 Colorado along with a 1 way pager viper alarm system. Everything was set up and conducted by Best Buy's master installer, Blaire. Blaire provided exceptional customer service and information pertaining to the product and services. When I came to pick up my truck everything was back as it was and he even gave it back in better condition than when I brought it in! I would highly recommend having in car electronics installed by Blaire at the Puyallup Best Buy.

Geek Squad on Point!!!

Great work, great customer service

Took the time to custom fit everything into the panels and everything. Haven’t had any problems and the customer service was top notch. I would recommend using Best Buy for your installation needs.

Horrible service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the best Geek Squad installation for my speakers, which was my first mistake. I walked around the complex waiting for them to call me when they were done, but after an hour never got a call, so I walked back. When I arrived they told me they couldn't get the speakers to work, because I needed an AMP bypass, so I obliged and told them to install the speakers and I would come back when I had the parts needed for the bypass. I got the part they told me to get and when I came back they told me I needed a new stereo. SO i went home and ordered a stereo then came back and they told me I had the wrong stereo and It wouldn't fit, so I went home and installed it myself. The takeaway- I will never go to Geek Squad again, but I did learn how to install a car stereo.

Had some subs installed, and Fried my Battery
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had my appointment to get some subwoofers installed by Geek Squad. I don't know where to start. Well first off, i paid $250 for a Fried Battery and to sit in the store an hour after closing. My appointment was at 5, told it would be done a little bit before 8. I was cautious when i didn't get my call by 8:30 and soon 9 Pm came around and the employees were telling us that they were closed and we couldn't stay there for much longer. Long story short, my friends and i sat in the shop until 10 Pm. Because the person had completely fried my battery. we finally got it started at 10 pm. I drove and hour home. As i was driving home whenever i switched from my low lights to my brights, something would shut off and come back on. It was usually my stereo but it also shut off my cruise control a few times and once it shut off my Traction control and ABS System. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed with the service. Once i got home i shut my car off and tried turn it back on. All i got was a little flicker from my electronics and then completely black. Couldn't even lock my car. Open for comments.

Need training
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to drop off my car this past weekend, and I was told that components would work in my front, and if i wanted, they would work in my rear doors. drop the car off, manager there says everything is great and what not. get a call from one of the employees about an hour later telling me that he does not have the time right now to install the components in my car, that he has other people to take care of. then proceeds to tell me it would take at least seven hours to install front components. needless to say, i picked the car up, that night parked in my garage, and hammered away at installing the components front and rear. took me a little over 3 and a half hours when everything was said and done. i was irked.

Not perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One thing I worry about when getting car speakers installed today is that the tech NOT break the door panel clips. I had two sets of speakers done by BB. The rear doors they did ok, the fronts, the driver's door has a big gap between the panel because obviously he broke the clips. What annoys me the most is that he didn't bother to mention it to me, I guess figuring I wouldn't notice. Now I have to waste more of my time. Oh joy. Just poor

Expected more from Best Buy

However, during the car audio component install the door panel screws were over tightened and the screw is slightly protruding through the door panel(noticable). Also, two of the four door handles are not in the proper position. The last thing that was noticed was that my left rear window is no longer operable. I believe that the window was not reconnected during installation. I choose Best Buy to complete my installation because of your clean professional car audio installation that Geek Squad represent. I expected my vehicle to be returned the same way it was received, not with any damages or alterations. The installer was very apologetic and expressed a strong concern for the issue. I am highly disappointed at the service

I took my car in for a door speaker installation now the window won't work. Can't get ahold of audio at store. Left messages. Haven't returned call. Might have to drive 30 miles to the store to make an appointment for fix. Disappointing.
