Abhi Sharma was out from Geek Squad to check out my computer and he did an excellent job.

Alex arrived when expected. He was very knowledgeable of computers and completed the job in a timely fashion. ONLY disappointment was with scheduling, they changed who is sent out. I worked with Alex in the past and only wish he works on my equipment. They changed our service area to Milwaukee yet we're 15 miles closer to Racine, and 60miles closer to Racine than Madison. I'm paying 50.00 extra to have home service. In addition, we purchased geek squad for a yr and due to Covid they weren't coming to homes and couldn't schedule a time. Best Buy didn't take that into consideration or give us a credit for that Service Agreement. If it wasn't for the Racine store manager and Alex we wouldn't have agreed to another yrs contract.

I ordered a laptop. Was very easy to order, Ilove Best Buy.

The agent helped me by diagnosing and correcting a problem with my land line phone service. I had a new wifi modem purchased at bestbuy installed a few weeks earlier and assumed the malfunction was related to that new modem. He figured out the problem and corrected it even though apparently it may not have been related to the modem. I am happy with how he fixed my problem. I also want to mention that this was the same guy who set it up in the first place and he was very adept at doing that and also helping me ensure all my wifi devices were functioning properly before he left. I was very happy with that. thank you

The agent repaired and tuned my computer. He then corrected an issue I had with my TV. He was very efficient in his work.

Firstly I think it’s best to say there is resentment towards initial purchase of my computer. It’s an Ageis desktop and upon the first night of purchasing it and trying to use it that night it wouldn’t work. I brought it back up to Best Buy, and went through the warranty I had and got another one. I was never told what was wrong with it, but eventually, through it happening again—which brings us to this review—turns out it was most likely the graphics card being outdated. (I still have had no confirmation from the first time that this was the issue but I’m sure now it is). Anyways, the issue with the graphics card happened again and I brought it into Geek Squad at the store. The intake process was smooth and easy and I appreciate that. They figured out the issue and sent the computer off to the company where because of warranty and nature of issue, had to be fixed by them. Aegis fixed it, and sent it back. I was notified from Geek Squad it was ready for pick up. Get it, return home, and plug it in. Not working. I called Geek Squad at the store, and this is where we get a three star review. Guy says “I’m sorry you’re going enough this” multiple time instead of offering potential solutions to fix the problem. I then proceed to be petty and refuse to waste more gas and time taking it back up there, so I schedule an in house visit from Geek Squad which had my appointment two + weeks out from date of scheduling. My desktop proceeds to sit there, unused for weeks. Weeks while I run out of time to take a real estate course that is based on a fixed amount of time. Spoiler alert, I’m unable to finish the course because I couldn’t use my computer. Two plus weeks later Geek Squad is in my house, and in under 30 seconds, puts the HDMI cord in a different slot. Could this be something I could’ve figured out? Absolutely. Could this also be something the guy who repeated “I’m sorry your going through this” could’ve stated? Absolutely. I placed that HDMI cord into the same spot I always do, but because of the new graphics card it no longer worked. I feel like this was information I was offered over the phone. Yes I could’ve figured this out on my own so there is blame on my end too. I get that. Regardless, I lost access to my computer for two plus weeks which was awful. Clearly I needed help in the situation and while the sentiment “I’m sorry you’re going through this” is sweet, it is and wasn’t helpful.
